The tie-down straps on the auto-transport (AT) were water-logged and swollen, and it was 0F outside so they were frozen and swollen. So, they simply would not fit into the AT's ratchets to tie the vehicle down. You need to solve this problem.
Henry K.Very nice and friendly service. But the U-haul truck we got was too old. The bearing was found burned out while resting, luckily it was found early and not at the time of the accident. We had to call roadside assistance to tow the truck, unload our own car from the tow dolly, get a different truck, carry all the luggage, and load our own car onto the tow dolly again. This delayed us for 3 hours.

However UHAUL botched up the reservation - by the way I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH YOU IF THERE WERE ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVE - YOU ALWAYS SCREW IT UP. trailer should have been pulled into shop to deice the ramps and straps - frozen solid an unusable -- the location did not have any strap extensions and had never heard of such a thing
