Robyn FContract# 92299128 I wanted to rent a 6 x 12 covered trailer for one way Coldspring TX to Birmingham AL. Due to a shortage I ended up with a confirmed unit at Pasadena TX and at Cleveland TX. I picked up the Cleveland unit, dealer rep was very prompt, stopped what he was working on and took care of the hook, checking lights and inspection of trailer. We discussed arrival in AL. and where to drop. I gave him our destination address but told him I was not sure what time we would be able to finish and drop off so pick one out open the latest to our point. At no time did the dealer ever mention that the number of days I rent the unit will be my full cost and no credit for any days not used or returned early. When I returned the unit on Tues. the 7th 2 days early, the original address I was told to take it to was not a uhaul dealer in sight. I called again and give another address to take the trailer to. I arrived at the other location dropped the trailer, had to back it into the spot myself which is no issue but upon leaving the tech said that was all i needed to do and he would email me my receipt. After returning home, i printed my receipts and on monday the 13th I called and learned that I will not receive any credit for turning in early. Its funny that when I was told the first address to take the trailer It was mentioned to me that I had to take it there as there may6 be another customer waiting to pick the trailer up. ODD! It leaves me with a thought. u-haul uses this practice quite often and in a years time can make $$

Ron KOnly complaint is that the receipt for the return was never processed. I ad to call several times to get them to process the return and they still failed to do so. had to call Uhaul corporate customer service.

KRISTA COur drop off time was at 10:00 PM and we were told that they would park our car outside of the gate since it was after hours and put the key in the lock box. When we got there, the car was inside the gate locked! The phone number that we had was no longer in servicesame number that was on our receipt. Finally got in touch with somebody from a store number off of the building!!! They were rude on the phone - will never use them again!!!!!

BRENDA HHad to just leave equipment at pre-arranged time because no one was really there to receive and inspect. Facility needs to work on its issuing and receiving to get an Excellent rating.
jerald mThe rental had 80,000 miles and was a semi-rough ride.
MOLLY MEmployees were late in opening location. Equipment was dirty inside the cab as well as obviously had been used to transport fireworks from the recent holiday. Overwhelming odor of sulfur in the cargo area as well as firework debris. Equipment had less than 1/8 tank of gas in it upon pick up. Contract showed that fuel was only 1/4 tank. Original reservation also included a toy hauler trailer that upon contact from scheduling, trailer wasn’t available anywhere within 50 miles. This is not the first time U-Haul website has allowed me to make a reservation for equipment, then the day before I find out the equipment is not available. This results in unanticipated last minute changes that become inconvenient and costly to the customer.
WILLIAM JThe person who was responsible for the rental was not even there. I made a new appointment and when I went back that afternoon he was gone again. Then he makes the comment that Uhaul don’t give him orders

Shimira WFor whatever reason, when I called the number on Google maps for Cleveland Uhaul (281-622-4017) the entire greeting was in Spanish. I have absolutely no problem with that except that I'm an estúpido gringo and only know a few words regardless of how much I try to learn. Maybe I dialed a more direct line but figured I'd point that out. Still excellent customer service once I got there.

MARIA DThe guys working at the shop that rents out the trucks and trailers are all nice and respectful guys very helpful and quick I was in and out in about 5 mins the truck was clean and in good condition will recommend for sure. I even found a new mechanic to bring my cars too.

Debra DI dropped the vehicle off a day early and sat around for 20 minutes until someone came inside to take delivery. I was told it was good but then an hour later was charged for 7 gallons of gas despite the tank being well above what it was when I picked it up. Will only use mobile check in and out from now on to prevent being scammed. Would not use this location again.

Erica WLocation owner attempted to add extra charges on my reservation. When he was confronted with it he stated “it’s just uhauls extra stuff”. I told him I already completed everything online I didn’t want the “extra” stuff. Upon inspecting the trailer I found the passenger side tire tread was almost bald. I checked it to be 1/32. I showed the owner and he stated “it’s good, it’s fine”. Luckily we didn’t have a blow out during the rental. Very shady business practices I would t expect from all the times I’ve used U-haul.
Joshua AI got charged 106 dollars cause they said I could go 90 miles well from where I was to where I moved was 78 miles they said I went over 70on milage then I was told to bring it back with excat amount of gas in it as when I got it it had more gas when I left it then when I got it so WTF!

bruce rFollowing instructions via email was somewhat confusing. Frequently when asked to verify information the links would be timed out whenever I started to make an entry. Just couldn't verify anything. When I checked reservation online and found reservation to be okay then I disregarded the verification requests.
