It was Sunday when I dropped the truck off so no one was there but everything was customer friendly

U-Haul over all seemed very unorganized this time. We've used them many times in the past and have had no issues. This time...... Was horrible 1. The trailer that you guys contacted us to transport along with our truck was cancelled on us last minute. At that point we were counting on that money and had planned our trip timing around that transport 2. Last minute location pick up change by usual.... Total inconvenience 3. Pick up of truck was disorganized. Person at location tried to charge us the higher price instead of the original location price. Couldn't get it right, had to work with other location. Still didn't get right price that was originally agreed on but was tired of arguing and needed to get on the road. I know what price i was emailed and signed up for 4. Went to get the truck that was off in a field down the road from the"storage" location where they did the paperwork. Truck was open, back was filthy and some sort of black grease or something all over inside back. Inside was all muddy and wet. Cab was muddy. Very obvious truck hadn't been cleaned after last use 5. Truck was all over highway when driving. Alignment was bad. It was storming the entire trip, windshield wipers were garbage. Needed replacing 6. Pick up location told us that we were returning truck in Williamston. Yet when we got home, on the paperwork, it said Simpsonville (40 min away). Called CS. To find out what was correct and apparently Simpsonville was and CS could have cared less about what we were telling them. Internet was spotty at pickup location so couldn't get email there to confirm what we were told Entire experience was disappointing with U-Haul this time. Not just this location to blame but the overall experience with U-Haul was not good Would we recommend U-Haul in general........? No

Called in to extend my rental was told only $40 extra per day Was charged 375$ for for 3 extra days

Make sure the fuel is accurate and to the T. I was told the tank was on 5/8 of a tank and it wasn’t it was on half a tank. 209 M till E to be exact! When I dropped off I spent $55 to put fuel in it just to put it between 5/8 and 3/4 full so I wouldn’t be charged for a fee for fuel! Absolutely the WORST experience ever!
