ANDRE RContract no. 98532286 I rented a U-Haul on September 15th, but there is a problem with the truck. The air conditioning is not working. Due to the hot weather, not being able to use the air conditioning was very uncomfortable and distressing. I don’t think I should have to pay the full rental price for a service that was not provided properly. Isn’t it standard practice to check and repair the vehicle before renting it out? I don’t understand why a vehicle with a non-functioning air conditioner was rented to me. I expect appropriate compensation for this issue.

RACHEL STruck broke down and I had to wait for a tow truck, despite being around the corner from the drop-off location. Temperature was over a 100 degrees! Also, received no apology or any compensation for the being inconvenienced.
Gilbert AWhen we picked up the truck the gas tank was on empty. There is a nearby gas station but we were concerned we wouldn’t make it there as it didn’t say how many miles were left just had a notification that said empty. I believe we did get a gas credit which was nice but it would be an improved experience if the tank was not on empty when you went to pick it up. Everything else went smooth.

Pedro II would check the “Automatic” trailer hydraulic brakes. Anytime we hit bumps in the road I think the brakes were actuating as it was beating us up! I pull a 4300 pound camping trailer (same tow vehicle) that has electric brakes and never experienced such jerking as the U-Haul trailer.

jeanette bMy reservation was changed 3 times the night before. The morning of my truck was reserved for 8am. I did not get it until 11. I was then told that the equipment I had reserved was not available at the location and had to drive another 20 minutes to a different u-haul. Moving is a headache, and u-haul made it a migraine.

AJ PI was charged $23 for overfilling the gas when that's also how I received the truck... he put that it was only at the "Full" line when it was well over when I picked it up. In the future I will take pictures to dispute charges such as that. This was my first time renting a uhaul as well.
Milan MThe inside of the cab was dirty. The windows needed cleaning inside and out. No Washer Fluid. Wipers worn. Cupholder was so gross I wouldn't put anything in it. Getting out of the lot is quite challenging and one could easily damage the truck before they even start their journey.

Ajith NWhen I had ordered the UHAUL it was set to be where I could pick up up at 7:30am. I got a call the day before that it was not set up so I had to wait until they opened to pick it up which set me back about an hour starting to move. Other than that, the staff was friendly, the truck did the job, and I was pleased overall with the experience.
