The man at the store saw me pull into the parking lot he came out directed me to where he wanted the trailer dropped off at, before I could get out of the truck he had the trailer unhooked very helpful.

This was a horrible experience from the word get go on Thursday I was supposed to go pick up this trailer and Halton Texas at the hardware store some of the most rudest people I have been waiting in line for like 22 minutes and then it was my turn I stepped up to the desk and told the woman that I was there to pick up a trailer the door opened on the business a woman walked in they started talking the woman at the counter asked me to step aside and let her wait on this other person I said well how does that work I was here first the woman looked at me squaring my face and said well I know her I said well you can keep on knowing her I'll take my business elsewhere so this starts another Journey I went to Marshall Texas picked up I trailer the guy was trying to hook up the trailer to the plug on my truck and the plug from the trailer had so much dirt and mud on it and he was trying to shove that into my truck nothing worked on the lights on that trailer but yet they worked on my truck he told me thatI he could not hook my the trailer up to my truck because my truck needed fuses and when I take my truck to go get new fuses I could come back and get this trailer I looked at him and ask him was he crazy I said why can't you hook another trailer to it that don't have all that dirt on the end of the plug and rent that one to me because the fuses on my truck are not blowed so finally got him to understand English and I hooked up to a different trailer and guess what it worked it didn't have dirt all over it tried to get into the back of the trailer after I rented it and he was there barely could get the door open you got to snatch on it and snatch on it and snatch on it and snatch on it and when we open it up it was filled with dirt and sand and dust and I told him don't worry about it I'll take it home and clean it out also looked at the tires and said well then look bad no they not bad he said it will be okay so I left with the trailer I made it to my destination in Illinois from Texas and a big huge chunk was missing out of this tire so I called the place that I was supposed to drop it off at which is curts transportation in East Peoria Illinois I called there at 7:00 a.m. when I thought maybe somebody was going to be there this man answered the phone screaming how can I help you I said sir I needed to find out when you're open he then proceeded to scream at me we are open 7 days a week 24 hours a day 365 days a year and how can I help you I said I am trying to return a trailer when I got here last night the tire has a big huge chunk missing out of it and I do not feel comfortable driving it to your location he asked me what my location was and I explained to him he told me well you drove right past here you could have already brought it but I had not drove past there and I tried to explain it that this morning my husband and two of his workers loaded up three back ends of a pickup truck and took all of our stuff to storage so I would not have to drive that trailer with the chunk missing out of the tire you could see the wires in the tire big chunks missing out of it he told me he don't give a care which was not the word to used that I could drag it over there and did not get the insurance on the thing so what if it blowed out I said sir I don't want to hurt anybody or damage my truck he said I don't care how you get it here we're not coming to get it and I said excuse me and he said b**** let me tell you something and let me tell you something that's where he screwed up and that's where I flipped the script and me and him both cussed each other till flies wouldn't light on each other I finally hung up on him and I called you home they sent Mr Sweeney from Sweeney repair to bring a brand new tire after me taking a picture of it and showing them how horrible this idea would be for me to drive that trailer anywhere with a tire that look like that they also agreed that's why they sent a brand new tire with Mr Sweeney when I got outside Mr Sweeney was changing the tire and there was a man and I looked on the thing and it said Curt's transportation and I asked that man why are you here are you not the one that just called me a b**** and me and you got into it over the phone he said yes I'm here to see what you're talking I said you get the hell out of here don't you ever talk to me like that or I'll jump on you he started cussing I jumped up trying to get after him he jumped in his vehicle and he drove away U-Haul was on the phone with me when every bit of that happened this is been the most horrible experience that I have ever had with a U-Haul rental of any type this is sad that man at Kurt's transportation should not be allowed to be part of U-Haul because they don't represent you well also the little guy Marshall Texas needs someone to come there and show him and tell him that you cannot hook up lights on a truck or trailer if it's caked in mud to somebody else's vehicle so now moving on to Safari Auto where I was able to take this trailer back these people treated me with the dignity and respect that I deserved and I treated them with the same you can't approach me left-handed and think that it's going to be right
LISA MMac's was closed yesterday when I dropped off, - they have always been helpful when we rented from the counter as long as you realize their primary business is a Liquor store it's perfectly acceptable.

JAMES RUhaul company (not this location) needs to stop changing reservations data like locations without calling the customer ... Like the uhaul email states that uhaul will call the customer if there is a problem. Mac's location is great. Sadly. Before you go to any uhaul reservation check to see if uhaul "company customer service" has changed anything before you leave to pickup. Uhaul customer service has now twice changed the location without calling, texting or emailing.

Floyd JI was told I went 8 miles over the mileage. I said I brought the truck back with HALF a tank of gas MORE than what it was when I rented the truck. He told me UHAUL does not reimburse for gas. This is a crap policy. $30 or more in gas I didn't use & UHAUL was adamant about the 8 mile overage. Thats pathetic.
