Floyd JI was told I went 8 miles over the mileage. I said I brought the truck back with HALF a tank of gas MORE than what it was when I rented the truck. He told me UHAUL does not reimburse for gas. This is a crap policy. $30 or more in gas I didn't use & UHAUL was adamant about the 8 mile overage. Thats pathetic.

willie bFirst of all, my res was changed and I was not notified. I had to drive 40 minutes away to pick up my rental. My original reservation was for 9:30am. This place did not even open until 10am. On top of that the rental was at a liquor store. I am a 15 year recovered alcoholic. This did not set well with me. The truck cab was unclean. Looked like a carbonated beverage had been spilled in the floor. The moving blankets were stored in a small UHaul trailer. They were unclean and smelled of mildew.. Then a fight broke out in the parking lot of the liquor store between a man and a woman and scared my wife terribly. She was shaking when I got outside to check on her. But wait, there's more. The truck had what looked to me like orange RTV silicon gasket maker all across the back of the truck where the door closed, on the back bumper and on the ramp. The UHaul agent said his other truck was muddy and this was the better of the two trucks. He said it was just paint and not to worry about it. I did not smell it at the time, but after the truck was loaded by the UHaul hired movers I smelled a smell that resembled a noxious gas or vapor or something like that. The smell penetrated into every box, plastic tote, NEW plastic wrapped furniture as well as all of my plastic wrapped wooden furniture. .We had to open all the windows in our house to fumigate the smell and have had to rewash every item of clothing, all bed dressings and still have to take many items to the cleaners. We are at approximately 15 loads of laundry done and have many more to go. I am extremely unhappy with this experience and would NEVER recommend that anyone pick up a UHaul at this location. Their contract should be revoked!

Brenda GTruck wasn’t in proper working condition (back door pulley system was broken) Owner tried for one hour to fix it (on our rented time running) UHAUL sent our road side assistance to us and that was another 1.5 hours and the problem still never got fixed because roadside didn’t have the parts.

Michael WHe looked into my bill, and told me that uhaul sets the price, not the store. So now, Uhaul can go stick this trailer up their rear ends for sticking it to me with a ridiculous price. Really??? 170.00 for not even a 1 day rental. Shame on you.

Steven NThe pick up and drop off locations were fine. Staff was friendly. The issue I had was with the truck. Roof leaked an got our pictures and my daughters collectible dolls wet ( she has been collecting for 17 years) they were put up above the baby in "moms attic"....well, seems as of mom needs a new roof. How do you explain that to a girls who was told they would be perfectly fine away from heavy furniture. The truck needed to be serviced, steering wheel was way off center and something in the front end loose and making clunking noise over bumps. Was not expecting a Cadillac ride but seemed unsafe. And the tires may have been bad becuase this thing was sliding all over the road for a 5 hour drive through the rain. Very bad experience. Then after 780 bucks for 2 days, got hit with an additional 65 bucks for going over on alloted miles. Must be my fault that there weren't any trucks avail right next door to both locations and I had to pay for that mileage. Whatever....next time, will use Penske
