I couldn't get in the gate! No instructions via the 24/7 app, no indication that the location was going to have a keypad/locked gate. How are you supposed to return the truck!!!? Uhaul customer service didn't know the code, uhaul wanted me to leave keys in a lockbox. There was nothing around! Ended up leaving the truck at the entrance as instructed by uhaul. What a joke! The app is a joke, this location is a joke. Just a complete waste of my time. I messed around for almost a hour trying to "return" the truck. Nothing works the way it should.

There should be enough mileage included in the base rate to at least cover the distance of the move. I was offered an alternative drop off location at a “savings” and then drilled $1/mile for every mile “over” even though the included mileage was 70 less than required to make the trip and use the recommended alternative drop off.

William MerrittThe Uhaul truck cab noise levels are a serious safety issue. I doubt it meets DOT regulations. I have driven quieter stock cars and mining trucks. The noise level in the cab was truly amazing. This made the driving very tiring and difficult.
Russ MattsonAfter I reserved the two trucks I rented, I was told to be careful because when returning the trucks, there will be extra charges. I just figured it was coming from someone who took advantage. Well, I also got extra charges added on in the end. Moving is stressful enough without having extra charges added. I said I would return the trucks on the 19th of May. I returned one truck on the 18th and the second on the 19th. When the truck was returned in the afternoon of the 19th, we were told it was supposed to be returned by 7:00am. That was never told to me and we were charged over $100.00 for an extra day. I would not recommend U-haul.
