I received an email from the location saying we had unreturned equipment even though it was returned correctly and on time. An email right after was sent with a completion of my order and a receipt that they charged me 54$ on top of the 80$ I already paid for the rental/miles. The pricing makes no sense and I wasn't able to get a hold of anyone to find out what happened or why I was charged so much. The pricing is also misleading in general.Joshua R.

The gas cap was off and I had to sweep out the uhaul before I put my stuff in it. Also my receipt is for $44.95 but the amount taken from my bank account is for $55.32Tammy C.
Those three questions work easy however, the rig itself was terrible. Light, bells and buzzers going off the entire trip. Had to pull over 3 times to cool off the engine also purchased 3 quarts of oil. Very old and hard to drive and I'm a professional school bus driver. This vehicle is UNSAFE and needs to be retired from fleet. Call for further questions.Lionel P.

Both people who assisted me were very kind and friendly. The only thing, I was told to fill up the tank upon return but when I got in the vehicle, it wasn't full to begin with. I figured after my initial submission before leaving (option to take vehicle as is or to update the information of the vehicle) would help calculate the difference so I would be reimbursed. Not sure if this is normal but if I was told to fill it to where it was then I wouldn't have spent the extra money filling it up. Overall, the crew was super friendly, like I said, the truck was clean, and it was a very flexible option for me (as I scheduled pick up 30 minutes before getting the vehicle!! Super awesome for a last minute planner!!)Anika O.

The drop off said he will charge me a $25 cleaning fee because of the dried dirt on the driver's plastic floor. This is Portland Oregon, Southwest Washington trip. It hailed. There was a huge downpour. I wiped up the water and wet dirt from boots but the dried dirt was there from previous rentals. I did not comment on the cleaning when picking up the 15' van because it's Portland Oregon! It rains! It's a moving van and I kept it clean but I'm not going to take a mop and clean the floor as if I work for uhual. Never dropping off here again... ps, we moved to Ridgefield where uhual is founded... I just think it's ironicMichael R.
Best little hole in the wall for all you're uhaul needs also look around there are hidden treasures everywhere.. The gentleman behind the counter was a 10 plus in his customer service skills and there was a lady there didn't get her name She was so polite and sweet to my granddaughter let her play while I was busy with paperwork.. Overall 100% better than the last place I rented a uhaul..I will be coming back definitely.. Plus there are a few items I need to buy... Thank you again the ChaviraCHRISTOPHER C.

We got the trailer and inspected the outside. Got to our location to load and the whole thing was full of trash. It made it difficult to fit everything in that we needed to. It was not ideal to work around the trash.BELLA H.

I was charged 82.00 plus 30.00 service fee for gas even though i left more gas in it than there was when i picked it up. Said there was a utility dolly in it but gave me an appliance dolly instead. Wouldn't stop talking to me about politics. Not a super experience.ERIN APRIL O.

The front windshield was filthy! Fully covered with dead bugs,dirt and dust. Even in the inside. The warning light that the window fluid was empty turned on within 3 minutes of leaving the location. This is first time I have rented from this location but I rented cargo vans from other locations several times in the last two months and every single time the front windshield was just as disgusting!! What is the problem?!? Uhaul expects the customer to return the vehicle clean inside! A clear window is a safety issue! The last thing any driver needs when driving an unfamiliar vehicle is the distraction of light bouncing off bug carcases and dirt. Wash the window. Only rent after checking routine fluids!Theresa G.

Just a little hole in the wall type agency, but the service was friendly, and efficient. The agent had to call someone to find out why the van could not be rented (not available) according to the website - even though yhe agent said it was not taken or reserved for the next three days. That is a Uhaul problem, and not the agents fault. You need to fix that because I was shunted over to a different vehicle due to that problem. Why does the website say a van is not available when it is sitting there unrented for the next three days ? The physical location worked ok, but with less amenities than typical of Uhaul. Friendly service made it better than it might have been otherwise.ROCK N.

Let customers know ahead of time that this location does not open until 10:30 a.m. . Thankfully I remembered my cellphone and was able to do a remote return. That was a very easy, painless process by the way! However, a warning would have been nice. Still happy with the service U-haul provides.David A.
Better alignment between customer service reps and specific locations. I was supposed to pick up a truck from another location but the truck was not available. I was told that I would receive a $50 credit for the inconvenience but the local vendor knew nothing about that.Sam B.

The location was fine. The attendant didn't wear a mask. I have no idea whether or not the u-haul I used was even cleaned before my renting it. The truck itself was fine. It seemed a bit on the newer side although the cabin smelled a bit oily and gritty.John K.

The rental truck was old and had over 172,000 miles and never should have been rented out to go long haul. The springs on the right rear wheel gave out in the middle of the trip and so the right rear tire was riding on the wheel well. The van was bouncing up and down as a result and I was being shaken severely during the trip. Tried to call roadside assistance, but was on hold for a long time and eventually gave up. Drove significantly below the speed limit as the truck was leaning far to the right and was concerned about it tipping over. After finally reaching the destination the engine light was on. Called roadside assistance and someone came out to fix it. They put 4 quarts of oil in it, but the check engine light did not go off. This was a horrible experience that was dangerous as the truck was leaning so bad it was difficult to keep it in the lane. I was physically drained and emotionally spent from driving it. Because of the extreme bouncing, many of our belongings were damaged. This truck should never have been on the road. It was a horrible experience.KERWYN S.

Make the process easier when there is a different driver from the person who rented the truck. I wanted my son in law to drive and he had to provide his information but also info about my daughter/his wife that wasn't even relevant because she wasn't there or even going to be driving.trisha J.

The guy was rude. Wanted us to park the trailer in a spot that was only a couple inches bigger than the trailer. Then said he was going to charge us $70 for footprints in the trailer. We thankfully had babywipes and wiped it all out AGAIN. It was pouring down rain.Heather F.

1. The customer before us took the key with them so we had to wait 45+ minutes 2. Gas was not as full as manager reported so we got charged $10 when we dropped it off fuller than when we picked it up. We were so tired of waiting that we just jumped in and left vs. pointing it out. We tried to do mobile pickup of a van in North Portland. When we got there, we went through the whole pickup process, but the key for the van wasn't in the lockbox. I then waited for probably 15 minutes on the phone to speak with customer service. Once I was able to speak to someone, she let us know that there were no other vans available at that location, but got us set up with a different van in Vancouver. The pickup process went smoothly once we were in Vancouver, but it was frustrating to try to get a van closer to our house and have the keys to it just not be there.
