I had trouble getting the key out of the lock box because the lock was nearly rusted shut. I was there for 20 minutes, calling for assistance with no response until finally I was connected with was somebody and they were on vacation in the Dominican Republic. Then when I went to return the truck, the gas cap was stuck, and I could not open it to put gas in the vehicle. Once again, I called for assistance and could not get a hold of anybody. I took a picture of the gauge sent a text to the number that I had and told them the situation. I still have not heard anything from them. I only used an eighth of a tank of gas. If they come back and try to add fees to the rental, I’m going to be very upset.

LAUREN SThere was an outage right when I needed to pick up my truck. I was stuck for 40 minutes unable to do the checkout process on the truck in the app. it just looped me in circles. I called the local number and was promised a call back but did not receive one. I called the customer service number and it wouldn't even let me wait in queue. It just said there was a technical issue and to call back in 45 minutes. On top of that I had to do a verification at the pickup location. it added another 10 minute delay to my pickup time. I had people waiting around to help me move. Overall the experience was terrible and I will think twice about using uhaul again.
