Strayed off ok. When we got to the drop off point, the business was closed. THERE WAS NO DROPBOX FOR KEYS. It said online it was open until 10, we arrived at 7. So I called uhaul to figure out an alternate plan. We were directed to proceed to another drop site over 120 km away and promised that we would not be charged for the mileage. So we went way out of our way and did the drop off. Received an email the next day from Adam Boughton from Uhaul in Manitoba. Surprise, they are charging for the extra mileage because according to Adam “you could have just left the vehicle there and put the keys in the Dropbox. THERE WAS NO DROPBOX GENIUS.And he will not return emails or phone me despite multiple attempts by me to contact him. So I got charged over 200 extra because their Dépôt was closed, there was no Dropbox and I added significant distance to my trip and paid for the fuel. If you have any options other than uhaul I’d suggest you use it

MAKAYLA FThe Uhaul we were provided had several issues: -There is a loud exhaust leak. -There are no working back up lights. -The odometer/speedometer is completely inaccurate resulting in excessive mileage charges. -The deck of the Uhaul was absolutely filthy when we picked it up, with dead bugs and mud -The interior of the cab of the uhual was absolutely FILTHY. And when removing the last of our items at drop off, when checking under the seat to ensure we had all our belongings out, a broken crack pipe was found under the passenger seat. I'm doubtful we'll ever rent from this uHaul location again after finding this.

SHELBY TWindshield fluid was not enough for this winter time, I am not sure if the container wasn’t full at the time I picked up the equipment but I struggled a bit until I could purchase a gallon of fluid
ARLES YFirst thing was I went to rent the U-Haul and the charge was way more than quoted. Secondly the power steering I believe is going. Thirdly I wanted to rent a storage locker, I had got a quote from the website that advertised a promotion 8 weeks at 50% off for a total of 107.10. Came in to pay and unload and they wanted 321.00 because or so they said the promotion was for Yorkton and not Moose Jaw. Well when a person enters the city they are looking for storage in, it should automatically sync to local promotions, if any. Well may I suggest getting IT in a s correcting your site because that is total crap. We had to spend the rest of the day using the U-Haul and trying to find another storage place. Very disappointed.
HEATHER OTwo pick up issues. I reserved this several days in advanced and was informed that the pickup location I chose had what I needed. I received a text about 19 hours before my pickup to inform me that I would need to drive 150 km out of my way to get a trailer to my move location. I was also informed that my new pickup location closed the next day at 11:30. The pickup was booked for before 11. As a result of the early close time I thought it would be beneficial to pickup 45 minutes early. I arrived at my pickup at 10:15 only to find the location closed. After making several phone calls and over a 1 hr wait, somebody was finally able to get me the trailer I reserved. Very inconvenient pick up experience. Other than that, the staff was very helpful, but seems like the online reservation system and internal communication is lacking.
TREVOR UI used the after hours drop off through the mobile app. The staff followed up with and email through the U-Haul system to provide a final receipt with extra charges (as expected)

We unfortunately needed the truck during the weekend when they are closed, and the app was an absolute nightmare- multiple errors and having to wait on hold to speak to a human, twice. We were about an hour late picking up because the app was just not letting us proceed. Couldn’t this have all been done ahead of time for a smoother transition
Eric BJust a note - the Uhaul app does not specify which location of Make Space Storage you need to drop off the truck to, which caused us to go to the other location first and waste time trying to get back to the other one. If you add the address, or a Google Maps link in the app, you can help customers avoid this. The link included on the app did not actually link to any specific address and created a lot of frustration.
MICHELINE GNever was inside the building, it was a Sunday and they were closed. Told me on the phone, everything is my responsibility. And I still got charged 2 days late even though I handed it in early. Called 58 caribou and told them what happened, they said not to worry everything will be taken care of. 2 days later I was told what I wrote above and had to do a bunch of phoning around. Now I get a bill for being 2 days late. Email says can pay at any location. Go to one location and they can’t do it. It’s been nothing but a nightmare since I got the truck.

CHANTAL MI found the after hours check-in confusing. The rep on the phone was helpful. Once we got through the check-in the App said they would send a confirmation email but 3.5 days and still no confirmation email. On pickup the agent helped me hook up, but stepped between the vehicle and the trailer where I could not see them in the side mirror - a safety hazard for them. The agent did a turn and brake light check, but did not mention that the licence plate was missing, and that one marker light was missing. Yes I should have rechecked those items myself, but the agent should have picked them up too.
WESLEY RMy booking was changed last minute and I was made to drive an hour and a half to pick up a vehicle that I didn't want or need. I ordered a 15' truck and was given a 20' truck to drive to Vancouver, which cost me more in gas. The vehicle was not clean and I had to stop and wash the windshield because you could not see out of it, and I also had to stop for gas because it was well below half a tank. The check engine light was on the entire trip and I told the lady when I picked it up and she didn't care. Not only was the whole booking experience and pick up an hour and half away wrong, but Uhaul had the nerve to then call and ask if I could mind pulling a trailer to Vancouver for another customer that needed it. Uhaul offered me a measly $100 for this. Also, I was overcharged on my Visa bill. My estimate was $977 with taxes and I was charged over $1100. I need someone to contact me to discuss this whole situation because it's a joke.

Dwayne YDropped off after hours so didn’t get to deal with anybody. Improve your customer service. If the hours are from 7:00am to 7:00pm, someone should answer the phone at 6:45. Also, do some research. If I want to pick up in a certain location but that’s not an option, let me know up front so I can make other arrangements instead of dealing with the BS I had to. Picking up in a different location than the one I wanted, is not good business. I could sell you a tomato at my store and then send you across the province to pick it up. Doesn’t make sense. Do better
Mike DVehicles need some mechanical maintenance. In particular, transmissions. Tune ups. Cost $50 for less than 50kms of driving.
