Cammie POne of the furniture pads we received was dirty with some kind of oil. It left clear stains in a cardboard box we used it in to pad the contents and we had to clean everything that came into contact with it.

JOSEPH MAll trucks, especially those going across the country should be PRE HWY TESTED AT SPEEDS ABOVE 65. My truck shook my arms to keeps in on the road 3 inches and I’m a strong guy, roadside came that night that really delayed my entire trip and put me behind. Broken spring, strut, and control arm! The regional manager credited me $500 and was very professional and helpful. But my truck would’ve been unloaded in NC if that hadn’t happened on the early morning my father had a heart attack back in austin so I had to leave full U-Haul and fly back home with the full U-Haul at a hotel costing me money. Clearly it’s just a spring of bad luck, but that delay really caused a domino effect. Now min debt with U-Haul, but hopefully I can pay off before it hits my credit. But yea that first truck, had x stickers for damages all over it like 100 of them and with that passenger front wheel problem, I could’ve died if that tire came off. FYI the tire was wavy all on the tread and bubbled on the inside so I was close to rolling off the hwy

Michael CThe truck I was given had mechanical problems so the customer service person had to locate a different one. The store and staff are great. Really disappointed with the equipment. Vehicle advertised lowest cost per mile, very misleading, I have never seen a Ford F450/550 chassis equipped with a gasoline engine, that piece of junk burned fuel like crazy, 6 miles to the gallon for over 2000 miles. Really disappointing, as a business u-haul really screwed us over on that level. I will never rent or buy anything again from u-haul. The truck was also equally as expensive to rent as other companies that were equipped with diesel engines and air ride cab and seats. Total bullshit on u-haul’s part, this move cost us thousands more thanks to your ill-equipped garbage of equipment.

Rodney MRental process was quite easy. The gentleman fullly explained the process. The return was a little more difficult because it involved using the U-Haul app and taking photos. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and I would rent from here again in the future.

Arton TThe people here never cared about the AC issue even if I talked to them during the trip. Nothing was addressed other than "I will let uhaul know". All they wanted was to know if I was going back in time to give the truck to somebody else. The location has no obvious signs that there is a uhaul office and no signs for where to park the truck. I left the truck initially in a lot 30 yards away from the office with other uhaul trucks, but immediately got an angry call that I should not leave it there as the truck has to be inspected first. When I asked where exactly I should leave it, got another angry response. They could have just taken the truck themselves at that point and take care of it, but they asked me to drive it next to an auto shop entrance with a faded sign that had no uhaul sign anywhere next to it. Please train your people, customer service is terrible, not to mention, the terrible drive without working AC. No uhaul ever again for me, thanks!

Jovan BThe gentleman behind the counter was helpful, but his attitude was cranky and off-putting. When I asked to keep the truck for a few extra hours, he initially didn't listen (and assumed what I would say) and told me that I didn't have a reservation. That was true, given that I was trying to return the truck. He recovered by apologizing. When telling him about the mechanical problems, he said he didn't want to hear about it and wrote down the number for me to call. He explained why he couldn't help, but the impatient and annoyed approach was the last thing I wanted to hear after a miserable trip. I did call the number the worker gave me two days ago and talked to a lovely woman who said I should hear back in a couple of days. So far, I haven't. We are very disappointed in the service and the problems with the truck.
Lisa KWe were charged a cleaning fee of $50. The truck was completely cleaned out by us except for the blankets, hand truck and furniture dolly. All of which are uhaul items. In addition we were charged $20 because we turned in the truck after hours? Why is there a fee for that?
