YUSUF OThe people that run this location are morons for lack of a better word. We had to basically do their job for them when something made the back door of the truck get stuck.
RACHEL AVan was set up in Spanish making it complicated to use certain features. Van had some sort of safety mode which caused it to lock itself with the key as we were unloading. Had to pay an extra $200 to get a tow truck service to open it. And they were also having a hard time unlocking it. I sent my friend to drop off the van in Poughkeepsie and she was held against her will at the store I had to contact her manager to reach the store and let her go. They also tried charging one of my cards without my consent causing me an additional fee. Overall terrible experience renting from that location.

WILFREDO DThe truck was dirty and I did not get to “skip the line and get the keys” I had to wait on line behind three people, when I told the clerk I was instructed to skip the line he said “give me a few minutes they were here first” I had to wait while one person played lotto ticked while another ordered a money order.
Melanie CI was sent to this location--it was not my choice. I had reserved a truck for 7:30 a.m. The store opened at 8 am. No one was there when I arrived. There was a lockbox but I did not have a code. A young woman showed up at 8 am. She could not unlock the store. She called the owners and asked for the code for the lockbox. She eventually got the lockbox open and there were no keys. She kept telling me the owner would be there in 5 minutes. After 25 minutes someone showed up and unlocked the store. I got my keys--my movers were waiting for me so I took the truck and left. The truck was 3/4 full of gas and absolutely disgusting. I did not even want to touch anything in the truck. I could not use the cup holders they were so filthy. I returned the truck 3/4 full and got charged $26+ for a gasoline fuel charge. I have rented many times from UHaul and this was the absolutel worst. I was late and now I have been overcharged.

Sandra KI have used U haul many times. This was absolutely the worst experience I ever had. The truck passenger side windshield was not sealed and I believe it would not pass inspection. I had to get everything out for the condo sale so I took the truck since it didn't look like rain and wouldn't get wet. The back of the truck I had to sweep out to use the inside of truck had old paperwork and other garbage in it. But the most disgusting thing was while I was driving to drop off at our storage unit my wife was in the passenger seat and looked over to see a hyperdermic needle lying under the passenger side seat. I brought the truck back and showed the representative. I also showed the windshield to the other agent when I picked it up. He said it would be fine. Not One apology for the needle under the seat. That could have been very bad had I jabbed myself. Worst time ever. Never Never again. Not worth it. How could your company risk it's reputation using these guys. It was also a disaster with the help for loading and unloading but they said they don't work for haul.

Daniel BThis was not a good rental experience. The pick up of the vehicle took over 20 minutes as the clerk didn’t have experience with the system. To return the van was another 25 minutes as the system wasn’t working and the agent keep asking to use my cellphone to scan a code. I tried contacting customer service but one agent hung up and never returned the call. The interior of the van was also very dirty and had a bad smell. I would like to speak with a customer service supervisor about this bad experience with U-Haul. Thank you!

Karen JImprove training in systems for employees at this location. Set up took almost 30 mins and after return the employee could not figure out how to close out and I didn’t receive my refund of my deposit for over a week due to the service not being closed out until I called a week later to close out the Return. Very difficult experience I have used this location in the past and it seems they have new owners possibly or just untrained employees. ;(
Debra CWe drove about 23 miles and had ti fill in 11 gallons of gas. Apparently, when we picked up the truck the gas tank was not full, therefore, we got had to pay for it. Front seat had tons of dog hair. Horrible customer service.

Rashawn GThe truck was well maintained, however it was a bit dirty. I had to sweep dirt and debris out of the back before putting our stuff in it. Also there was dog hair in the cab. Overall not bad but the truck wasn’t cleaned before I picked it up.
curtis TThe check in process was lengthy but straightforward until the end when we had to upload a picture of the odometer, in which the website wasn't cooperative. The checkout process was even more confusing. The website kept crashing on us when we tried to upload pictures of the odometer again and the cashier in the store tried to help but there wasn't much he could do. In the end he ended up figuring it out and we were able to leave, but I think the mobile website could use some work.

Keith RWhen I picked up truck and did walkthrough noticed entire front of truck was smashed in. This truck was not safe and whenever I traveled over 35 miles an hour the truck would shake violently. Obviously it needs an alignment a mechanic fix. This truck is not safe from driving on the road. Truck shakes violently left and right most of my boxes during moving were falling due to poor condition of truck. Not being able to drive over 35 miles an hour made the experience of moving much longer and dangerous. I told the gas station attendant but he was not proficient time to log a complaint. However I did tell him this truck should not be sent back out until safely fixed.
