I was told drop off location would be told to me upon pick up, staff had no clue on where to drop off the vehicle,long process as there were store customers as well. Cab of truck was dirty as was the back.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkWe try to rent the U Hauls out of the main location at Poughkeepsie NY on South Road but there were no trucks available. The young man who assisted me was nice but he was by himself and had to also help customers with gas and the mini mart which was there. The truck was old and at times was having a real issue staying in gear which was a bit disconcerting.
DEBORAH BI won’t be recommending renting from U-HAUL to others based on this experience. I am considering filing a complaint with the NYS consumer protection division based on these additional charges.
Nicholas PThe truck was clean but old. The emergency brake was stuck on the entire time. The gas gauge was broken too because when I went to fill the tank that was just below the full line, I ended up putting $31 worth of gas in it.
