Good service and good experience with this rental
SARAH LEverything was easy, from booking to pick up to drop off. Well organized. All went smoothly.
basilio nI did this booking a month before the rental and I specificaly asked and paid for a 4 wheels dolly. When I took the truck, the dolly was not there and I have been asked to go in another location to find one which was not available also. I finished by buying one myself and I lost one hour and at least 5 miles for nothing. If you cannot deliver the booked options, please do not mention them or offer them.

Sri SPhone customer service misleads you in to thinking you can have an easy time at any location but each one requires you to spend 10 min of prep time on your phone even though the reservations you make yourself are not honoured when you get there and then you spend ages being told by personnel on site that you’re not doing it correctly. Very rude on site staff and a disconnect between the call in lines and the actual process on site. It’s impossible to reserve without a phone and the app. What are the humans even good for at this point if the desks tell you to go do everything yourself. They don’t even help you by finding the truck for you - had to walk all around the building to find it.
DIMITRI SI was charged more than expected. The odometer was already in miles and was counting in kms. I should have got the refund of 6 dollars according to the driving kms but instead i got overcharged 4 dollars for more kms
Deep TDirty seats with dog hair, a lot of nails and screws left by the previous renter in the door compartment. Left rear air tire pressure was low so I had to fill it up. I’m going to Home Depot from now on.
Saksham AI was charged a fuel surcharge although I had filled up gas after using and before returning it to the store.
RAHUL SAppliance dolly was not available even I placed the order a few days ahead.
VICTOR SThe man at M&C Lucky convenience was extremely helpful and courteous. Our check - in and check- out processes couldn't be smoother. An issue I had was with the truck having very little fuel when we got it, promoting a refill at beginning instead of the end of our move as I had anticipated. Another issue was with the condition of the 15' truck - it seemed like it could use better maintenance as it struggled to reach more than 30-35 kmph before the whole vehicle started shaking and creaking.

SANYAM BIt would be great if some instructions can be given on how to operate a U Haul vehicle for those not versed with trucks.
Atul KI refueled the van before returning it, yet I was still charged for fuel. I have the receipt and pictures showing the fuel level when I picked up the van and when I returned it. I even asked the convenience store owner to do the checkout in my presence, but he said he was busy and would do it later that night. Please refund the extra fuel charges. Let me know if you need any proof from my side.
HARPREET GI rented a truck from the Martingrove location. The truck was very clean, inside and out. For a rental it drove very well and the windshield wipers worked which never happens. The clerk was friendly and the whole process was very quick. I will rent from them again.
KEVIN MSmooth on line rental process, but Message that right rear tire needed air when I turned on the engine, also meant I couldn’t record mileage. Gas tank only 1/4 full.

PATHIK PIt would be very helpful if there was information available on how many liters correspond to each mark on the gas gauge when refueling the truck upon return. Please address this issue.
SANGHEE LDon't forget to ask for the dolly. I assumed it was in the van. It was not. I had to pay for it anyway and explain why it was not there on return...I never had it.
PETER JPicking up the rental via mobile was a complete nightmare. A lot of the steps could have been taken prior to picking up the vehicle (such as reference details). The app needs major overhaul - I called customer service for pickup assistance and they referred me to the UHaul website instead of the app. It took over an hour (53 minutes just on the phone with customer service) to pick up my vehicle.

John CVan was really dirty....just terrible
Michael DTruck showed up an hour and a half late. Completely screwed me on my service elevator reservation. Spent over an hour on the phone trying to get an agent to speak with, ended up on hold until I was disconnected with no solution offered. Will never use U-Haul again because your customer service is absolute garbage and would absolutely never recommend to anyone else. Sharpen up U-Haul, you blew it.

Jamie GEverything was fine until I got the final charge. I had only 11.30 Km, and I filled the tank with 3 liters of gas before returning the van. It's just a van, not even a truck, so 3 liters for 11.30 Km is pretty generous. Still, I was charged a Fuel Charge of 7 liters, which amounted to $13.81+tax. I'll go tomorrow to get my money back. And even when (if) I get it back, i am also losing time going back to them and recovering the money and writing this review. I rented before from this location and I didn't have this problem, everything was OK the first time.

Mohamad OThe guy (night shift) at convince store is charging me for gas. But when I pick up the van, a woman (morning shift) said that I could return the van with same level of gas that I found, which was 1/4. I’m waiting for someone get in contact with me for resolve my situation

John MRear turn indicator light was not working. Was told return confirmation would be emailed to me within half hour of the return but return was still not completed 4 hours later and had to go back to the location to get them to complete it. Even after completing the return we did not receive a confirmation email.

Manjeet STerrible customer service. Woman at the desk had no idea what was going on, man on drop off threatened us with another bill. Already got our originally booking taken without notice and since you’re guaranteed nothing was done to match the original price etc definitely will not recommend this service and go with any other moving service in the future
Kiyoko CAfter using the truck, I filled it with more gas than the original amount and returned it, but the employee charged me more than $60 for not refilling the gas. I'll debate whether it's true or not, but the employee doesn't seem to know that I took the photo. Rather than wasting time arguing with these people, I strongly recommend that you find another dealer nearby. It's so tiring.

Micheal MThe tire pressure on the tires was not properly filled. The car driving area (front cabin) was a bit dirty and could have been cleaned. The rear tail light on the left side was broken and could have been repaired for safety reasons.
Tushar SThe cargo van we rented performed well on the Gardiner and in downtown traffic. However the tires had 4 different pressure readings with one being a bit low so it could have handled a bit better at highway speed. The photos taken of the damage of scrapes and dents on the van's exterior wouldn't finish uploading so calls to U Haul were req'd and we were given an email address to send these important photos to. The photos of fuel levels and odometer readings before and after the trip were included (also of the licence plate to confirm rental). Next time we will bring a laptop to access the UHaul account and the support on that app but that will require coffee shop wifi. The app didn't work well on cellphone but we did find the link to send the photos to in a text from UHaul. Unfortunately that link had expired after doing photography and searching emails for it but when we called UHaul the first time they sent another text with the link right away. We got very good fuel mileage. All the email + text communication was excellent. The parking lot had enough space to park our car which was a bonus compared to other locations. Thanks U Haul!

van cEasy pick up and drop off
Anna VI had previously booked 1077 Wilson ave,Toronto Ontario M3K 1G7 for a 630am pickup. At the time of booking the website said the convenience store would be closed but I could do mobile pick up. I went ahead and reserved the truck. This morning at 630am I was unable to get into the truck and after calling discovered this location does not have mobile pickup or a lockbox and so no keys for me to collect. I then spent the next hour and a half trying to find another location that had a truck available. With a tight schedule and reservations already made for elevators and time needed to get across the city this was terrible service. Had the website restricted me from booking pickup at 630am at a location that requires me to go into the store that only opens at 9am I would not have reserved at this location and wasted valuable time.
Erwin CI booked a rental at 5:30pm, location called me at 6:40pm, 20 minutes before they close to tell me they have no rentals available. I was already in an uber on the hwy on the way to the location. They didn’t offer me no other solution but to call the 1-800 number to figure it out myself.

Joseph PTruck came so low on gas that I had to use my allotted time to fill it up. This got in the way of the very limited moving elevator booking time we had. Key pickup was not properly set up by this location so we had to wait an extra 30 minutes before we could pick up our truck. The store opens at 8, our truck was supposed to be picked up at 6. I called UHaul about this and they extended our time though. I was about to be charged for the surplus fuel I left in the truck... but I'm glad I caught the mistake in time. The clerk did her best to resolve some of these issues but there was a lot of ambiguity to work with. I do not blame her. Overall, very dicey situation. That said, the truck was was a joy to drive and ran well.
Rohail AI made the reservation online. I entered all my info, including drivers license and credit card. I enabled “location services”. But when I went to pick up the truck, it did not work. The cashier at the convenience store took 45min to reset. I then had to rush back and forth and ran out of time to fill up. I asked the cashier prior to leaving what the penalty would be. She said I would pay a premium, but did not mention the $30 surcharge. I now feel that, because your check-in failed me and I ran out of time, I am penalized with at leas $30 + tax on something that was definitely not my fault
Felipe PVehicle was covered with snow and there was no one to clean it as well upon requesting a snow brush nothis was provided they mentioned that the dont have anything to do with u haul. As well the windshield washer was empty i had to fill it as well the rear left tire was low on air. This is not how it works as well when i called customer service they could help me as well

Charged an absurd for gas because the app was giving an error and would not let us submit the correct amount of gas (we had the picture to prove) Charged 50km, but we only used 5km. And giving a lot of headache to send us the refund! Terrible service.
Romulo OTerrible experience. I have filed a complaint and want my money back. The vehicle was not road safe at all. The windshield wipers did not work. We had to pull over and clean the windshield by hand. The tires were bald. We got stuck in a snow bank and had to get towed ( which we had to pay for). It was an awful experience. We could not use the vehicle and had to transfer all items we were moving into another vehicle because the van we got was unusable and a danger on the road.
Adam rThere was less than a quarter tank of gasoline? I had to fill the tank and that was $115. This there no policy where the rental has to have at least half a tank of gasoline to be drive to the nearest gas station?

But is didn’t give me any trouble . I was happy that I could drop it off late at night and throw the key in the small box outside. So I got what I needed done and I satisfied.
