JOHN HOne thing; I had reserved in store on Monday, 8/19, for pickup on 8/21/24 @ 1:00 PM. I was advised that the store location would be closed on 8/21, but I could complete my pickup by the Uhaul app. We were running little late, arrived 1:37PM. and reservation was gone. I had to call Customer Service (Lorraine), and then Mike at Regional to get it reinstated. I think there should be a longer window before canceling a reservation. I returned van in person at the store on 8/22, and all was fine. Thank you.

DAVID PI wouldn't recommend uhaul after this past experience. No dolly or blankets in the truck and it took over and hour to.get someone on the phone.

Nick MMy experience with U Haul was disappointing. I booked the truck rental over a month in advance, and 2 days before my move, I received a call that my pick-up location changed. I tried calling to understand why the change, and I was left on hold for over 40 minutes and no one every picked up. I went to the new location the day of the move and picked up the truck. As I was loading the truck, I received several messages that I never picked up the truck and was told that if I did pick up the truck, the insurance and additional coverage I purchased wasn't valid. I had to stay on the phone with U Haul for another 40 minutes to correct the issue that U Haul screwed up, because they never sent me a link to complete after pick-up. I drove the truck over 2 hours to my location, and the smell inside the truck was atrocious. It smelled like mold, and I was having issues breathing. As I was un-loading the truck, I received a text that indicated that I needed to drop the truck off at the different location than the one I picked with I booked the rental. U Haul is very disorganized!! Very disappointed, and I will not be using U Haul for another future moves. My son is moving to Virginia, and he said that he would find another rental for his upcoming move. It's stressful enough during a move, but to have to stop in the middle and take 40 minutes out of my day, because of poor internal controls at U Haul.

Richard DYour agent dinged me with an $80 up charge for refueling. This is bullshit. I returned the truck with the same fuel level as it had when I rented it, and I have the pictures to prove it. Please have someone contact me. I will be formally contesting this.

Mark BAfter leaving the keys with the attendant I received an electronic receipt where a $25 cleaning charge was added. This vehicle was returned cleaner than when I picked it up. Not good business.

gary cWhen you get to the pickup spot, you should have a Wi-Fi hotspot. You claim hassle free easy no contact pick up, but if you don't have service you end up searching for 40 minutes for the perfect place to stand so you can call the customer service to get the code to unlock the key because the app doesn't work correctly. Really freakin annoying, had to take extra meds because the experience upset me, not good idea for combat veteran's with mental issues.

Mary RIt was a very unusual drop off experience. I dropped off the truck a day earlier at their empty parking lot but it appears they had an issue with that.
