Smoky office, office not clean, wrong pricing givrn when called, no assistance available onsite
Chasong YNo one in office. The motel is dirty and poorly maintained.

Dan SThis portion was the only black mark on 2 consecutive weeks of renting uhaul. The location was easy to use and find, but the location was questionable. I had to call the employee to drop off my truck. They just said drop off the key and contract in the box, did not answer as uHaul or even as Maple leaf motel. I took several photos and video for record. Glad i did as the app / website did not work due to poor internet/mobile connection. I had to call uhaul just to make sure I would be checked out correctly. Toya Domino was extremely helpful and over the phone made sure thru email we were checked out and completed. Without her assistance, returning the truck would have been very uneasy.

roger wWe used the app to return the vehicle and had problems with uploading photos on the app. Really wasn't sure we completed the process due to several issues. Went back into the app and the option to return the vehicle was no longer available so we went with the fact the return when through.

Ryan DSend them to a different location. The owner/representative was rude and unfriendly. I placed order with a 1-800 rep. He asked when I wanted to pickup up the trailer. I told him late morning or early afternoon. He said he needed to enter a time, even though it didn't really matter. I told him noon. So when I didn't show up at noon, I received a call, wondering where I was. She was not nice. She wanted me there at exactly noon so she could leave. I didn't realize this. I figured the business was open 9:00-5:00, or something similar. She wasn't understanding.

Tom CYou have zero customer service, ZERO. I have never been so disappointed in a service. No response to a chat request after waiting 3 hours, over 2 hr wait time if you call and no call back, and no one reponded to my email for help either. Then they billed me for an extra day and now I cant get a response to my dispute for the charges. I will never recommend uhaul and I will definitely not use it myself ever again. P.S. Having pitbulls running loose at the pickup site is not a idea I am fond of. I do not have a fear of dogs, but many people do, especially that breed. I waited like 10 minutes before I got out of my vehicle because I didn't know if I would get bit and no one was around to call the dogs away.
Cindy BI had to call at 8:05 when I arrived since no one was at the office. When they arrived around 8:15 she let a big dog out of the locked office. Upon entering the office I almost walked into a giant pile of dog poop. I will not use this location again.

Warren BI got hit with a $20.00 after hours fee when I returned it 16 hours early. I called the number posted at drop off point. They told me where to park the trailer. They said just leave it. It wasn't due till 10:00 am the next morning. I dropped it at 5:30 the day before. This is a bogus charge. I will be looking for other options next time I need a trailer or truck.

Kurt SI needed a U-Haul at the last moment for an emergency. Although it was Labor Day and she was closed, she answered the doorbell and accommodated me pleasantly and without making me feel like I was imposing on her. Thank you so much Irene!

David BRepresentative was friendly and knowledgeable but office smelled thickly of cigarette smoke. Trailer was dirty on the outside from snow and road spray but the inside was clean. One of the tires was flat which we didn't notice until after the rep. had left the property. We were able to get the tire changed promptly with roadside assistance.
Scott TThere was moisture in the mom attic section of the trailer. One of two of our couch cushions were wet including a couple boxes. There was also glass found up there as well.
William FU-Haul needs to have the equipment at the location closest to the customer. If I rent it in Oshkosh, I should be able to pick it up in Oshkosh, and not have to drive more than 1 hour out of my way to go and get it, and not find out about that until 1 day prior to my trip. I hate U-Haul, but because it's the only show in town, they win.
Judith gI would improve general maintenance of the fleet at that specific location. Mechanic that came out to fix the truck said it was horribly neglected and abuse. Store did not perform maintenance on vehicle.
Torrence TCustomer service person at this location not tech savvy and very flustered. The truck arrived with moving pads in it even though we didn't order them or use them. We were charged for it then the charge was reversed but it took days to reverse and multiple contact with agent. The motel the trucks were at was super dumpy and sketchy.

Jared BI had an awful uhaul experience from pre rental to pick up to drop off. Before we submitted our rental online I called to inquire about us having a city to city move and the online registration not giving us the option to select a different drop off city. They said to book the rental and after it was booked they could help me adjust the drop off location to make sure it was right so I booked the rental. Then, there were bad storms and the power was out when I picked up the rental so it took longer than an hour to even get it and the person sitting outside the shell was not helpful. He basically said good luck and call uhaul cuz I can't help you. After we finally got the truck and got home to pack it up I noticed that the drop off location was listed as the same as the pick up location which wasn't okay because we were moving to a different city. We had an 8 day rental in order to pack and move to our new home. During that time I called uhaul at least 5 times to get my drop off location changed. I was frustrated everytime I called. I felt like I had to explain things everytime when I just wanted to make a simple change to my drop off location. I had two people tell me this wasn't possible even if I paid more before someone finally helped me make the change. After the change was made the drop off location want updated in my account so I called back in to try to figure out what to do with my truck at drop off. They then told me to just leave the truck and drop the keys which I was very hesitant to do because of the awful experience I had so far but this is what I did. Four days later I finally got my receipt. The charges looked accurate except for the gas I was charged for which didn't accurately represent the fuel end versus fuel begin on my rental because I never got to complete check in or check out on the vehicle and thus didn't get to personally submit the photos I had taken off the levels at start and finished, which matched. In the end, I simply did not care about this because I just wanted my experience with uhaul to be over with. I will never rent from them again.

DON BThis pick up site was not hospitable to someone having to use the restroom. We were to originally pick up at another location but specific truck size unavailable. Thought uhaul would deliver to site requested. Uncooperative. Charged for 2 days when returned within 24 hours.
