Went to the location to drop off vehicle 15 mins prior to closing. It said it closed at 5 pm, but nobody was around. The app wasn’t recognizing the order number so I couldn’t do a self checkout. I had to go back the next day to check out the truck, wasting two hours and gas.

Awful experience with UHaul. I cannot see myself ever using it again. I drove all the way out to the location only to be told I need three people to call UHaul and verify my existence. Are you fucking kidding me?! You made me wait in the freezing cold spam calling friends and family in the middle of the day to get them to call you. Never again. Terrible support and the truck didn't even have the dolly I ordered.

There was no way to put straps across the front of furniture or stacked boxes. Bungie cords would not fit behind the wood beams that go the length of both sides of the inside of the truck. Strap downs could not fit behind them either. Therefore i could only stack boxes 2 high and was unable to utilize the hight of the inside of the truck. I now have to make another trip.

The initial rental was great, the truck was great - it was the return that left me extremely frustrated. The lockbox had a lock on it which opened easily, but would not lock again. I was at the facility for 40 minutes, trying to use the app (unsuccessfully) calling Service, and trying to fix the broken lock so that I could securely leave my key (unsuccessfully). The service attendant, Alicia, tried her best to help me, but had no information that was useful. She contacted the store operator and eventually, I’ve decided the that I would have to return the key the next morning, (which I could not do because I am at work by 8:30). I continued to try and get the lock to close and eventually I got it to latch by tapping it on the ground (but not on the box) then I couldn’t re-open it. The key would not turn. Lots of frustration for such a simple thing. I had to ask my elderly mother, who uses a walker to go and return the key for me. I was very cranky by the time I left.

The pickup and drop off procedure was dreadful. Using the all and having to take a bunch of photos was unpleasant. I feel like I am doing the job of the person who was supposed to check in and check out the truck. The truck was dirty, I had to sweep it before putting my things inside. There was gobs of something on the windshield that didn’t wash off.

Horrible experience. I spoke with a woman who said I have “24/7” access to the truck. I am ON THE PROPERTY and receive an email that my reservation is cancelled because I didn’t show up. Absolutely pathetic. I call customer service and they say no trucks available but then I used the app and got another truck… absolute shit show of a company

Reserved 2 dollies and received a confirmation from a U-Haul representative confirming truck rental and dollies. She even confirmed that the dollies would be in the back of truck on pickup day. When I went to the facility to pick up truck I was told that the location doesn’t carry the equipment. Why was I able to reserve the dollies online if the location did not carry the equipment? I had to go purchase 2 Dollie’s that cost me over $100. The truck was filthy inside the cargo area, the interior windows were dirty , the air conditioning fan does not work so no air conditioning on the hottest day of the year., A drink cup was left inside cab from the previous renter and interior was dirty, Needless to say I am a very dissatisfied customer.

The self checkout and return features were smooth and easy to follow and use. The only small criticism would be some guidance on where to park a personal vehicle at this location while using the truck.

The only problem I had was the confirmation email I received gave me the wrong pick up address. Luckily the correct location called me to find out where I was because I was a few minutes late with my pick up. Other than that, I had a great experience and will be renting again in the near future

U-Haul did not adequately prepare me for pickup day using my mobile. The additional verification steps and/or documents should’ve been brought to my attention sooner. The van was dirty with popsicle sticks and lots of visible debri. Back of van was damaged, even though photo checkout of the van showed no damage, which worries me there might be a chance I’d have to dispute damage that was not caused by me from the get go. Overall poor experience- when I called to extend my drop off time another 12 hours, I was told it would be an additional $57 just to extend. Not please with the customer treatment and experience here.

Low tire gage constantly on. Vehicle transmission played catch up to the engine starting out. Rental process was quite easy. Office women very pleasant. When we returned the vehicle another gentleman was also very nice.

When I first signed up for my reservation I did not take safe move or any other type of coverage and had also asked for an appliance dolly. During check in I was advised no dolly available, no problem. He was having some issues removing the dolly from the order. But then When i went to check out my bill included safe move. I do not want to be charged for that since my original reservation did not include the safe move. and now when I tried to email the link 22072_GM@uhaul.com it comes back as undeliverable James Esposito 203-272-6707

I guess it really applies to the Uhaul company, but thank you so much for switching our contract (from a couple days with mileage fees to a week with a free 750 miles) such that we got the best rate.

The location was great, as it was the same storage place that I was moving my things to, which was very convenient, and the staff there were really kind. My issue was the online check-in process, which kept telling me that there was no reservation, and when I called customer service, I was hung up on after waiting on hold for 25 minutes, so the whole process was INSANELY FRUSTRATING. I'm actually not even sure how I figured everything out in order to rent the van; I think that I just trying different links and emails. Given that I work with IT everyday, this difficulty stunned me, and I almost gave up. The truck was great, the people were great, but the online process made me long for the day when you could just engage with an actual person when taking out the van. Ugh.
