Equipment was not together definitely needs some attention

JOSEPH BAllow part of self check in to be done before arriving at facility and install backup cameras and fix engine lights. It took too long for me to self check in - most of it could have been done in advance (uploading ID, uploading passport, choosing damage coverage, entering payment info and estimated mileage. I couldn't figure out a way to use the credit card I had entered to rent the truck for payment and had to reenter all of it again while sitting in a sketchy gas station parking lot. Install backup cameras as I had to pay an extra $30 fee plus a 1/2 gallon (I only went about 5 miles) of gas because I was uncomfortable backing the truck up to a gas pump in a buy gas station parking lot. Having an engine light on added stress to the move because I was worried whether it was going to break down, or if having the engine light on was normal.

JORDAN BI’ve rented twice from this location. Each time, the employees have been super nice, vehicles seemed to be clean and well maintained. Next time I need a U-Haul in the Pooler area, I will only go to Marathon on Foxfield!

BRANDON AThis establishment overcharged me for a dolly that was inside of the vehicle. I called to find out why I was overcharged, and I was told that the manager failed to check the vehicle for the dolly. I immediately asked for a refund for my money. The manager specifically told me to calm down. I asked what was his name. He said he was the manager. I asked the manager again for his name he hung up the phone in my face. I would not recommend using marathon in Pooler for your moving services.
Shaleena Bvan was not clean, but road really well. Door locks a little sticky. But customer service was very exceptional, thank you to both our agents at the counter. Well definitely use them again and recommend this location.

JONATHAN BThis was the BEST and smoothest U-Haul experience I have ever had. My husband left his keys in the U-Haul, and when we went back, the shop owner had them for him and had already called us and left a message. Praise God. Thank you!
CHRISTINA CI am not paying extra for mileage nor will I pay for it being late. I returned the vehicle at 2:00 as agreed. I also only went over the mileage by 100 miles. At .79 cents a mile I only owe 79 dollars. Not to mention the tank was not at 5/8 of a tank when I received the vehicle. It was at 1/2. I have pics and everything to prove so. The time of return was not 3:34pm it was 2:01

Jeffrey CWe did the online drop off process so we did not have to have help with the staff at the location. The staff at the location was friendly and polite and offered assistance if we needed.

Donnell DMake sure the heat works. I almost had to go to the ER after my trip because the truck had no heat and I couldn't feel my feet anymore.
COURTNEY GEngine light was on so I wasn’t confident the truck would make it. Also there was some items from the last person left in the cab. While I did the advance check a few days prior, it still took a while to get my truck. Other people in line were also waiting saying the same thing.
Gregory BI was overcharged for the mileage. I used only 4 miles, but was charged for 15 miles. I emailed the email included with my receipt and have not been given any response.

MAYANK PTook quite some time to pick up the vehicle but drop off was super fast on the flip side. Vehicle was not super clean and had a strong smell of weed/marijuana unfortunately.

Paul BThe cab of the truck was dirty and stunk. It also did not drive very smooth and had trouble downshifting when driving it on the freeway. I should have gone back and refused to take the truck as it was but I was on a time constraint and did not. When I turned it in the gentleman who checked me in let me know the truck had missed being serviced. I would not go back to this location again.

Kymel BDude canceled my previous rental, which I drove to 3 locations over an hour away… because he didn’t have the 12 moving pads. Reschedule for more than 100 dollars more. Also, after speaking to U-Haul they were refunding me $50 for the hour drive and multiple locations without a truck …. BS

Ronak PService your vehicles!!! The first van I was given had a broken right windshield wiper and the washer fluid reservoir was empty. I returned to the store and exchanged it for another van. The second van was not my ideal of clean (sand, rocks and a water bottle was in the cab) and the change engine oil light came on before the end of my rental period. Both vehicles needed to be detailed because the had a musty odor and it was obvious they had not been disinfected.
