Embarrassing moment due to poor customer services, owner call the police on us when we were self checking the truck, 3 car police and the helicopter show up and make us look like criminals, your system is terrible bad, we spent $120 and we don't even have an apology from the owner location or uhal, no good, bad really poor service. Really bad experience

The representative for U-haul wasn't there when I picked the truck up nor was her there when I dropped it off. There where multiple problems including being over charged. When I contacted the corporate office the representative call that U-haul location and he told the costumer service representative from corporate that “there's nothing he can do”, re the gas level. The truck was at 1/4 of a tank and I returned it 1/2 of a tank. He didn't care I was charged another day nor did he care that I was being over charged. The regional manager was actually in office and took my complaint re this location. The corporate office was wonderful and solved all my issues in 5 minutes, I was literally on the phone from 8:00am this morning until noon.

Maybe a number where you could talk to someone. I waited 4 days because I'm so upset The worst in the Uhaul world. Crooks, thieves, rip offs, rude, un-friendly, WOW. I have never been treated so poorly in my LIFE (I'm 66 years old) . I rented a car trailer . Given no instructions, then told, after rental, I had to go to Home depot to buy a come-along to load car ( they did not rent them or offer them for sale, but the trailer has the mounting hook for it). Once car was loaded, the front tire strap was not working. I had to acquire another to get car secured on trailer. It was 104 degrees outside, took 3 hours to load car because of the strap and needing additional equipment and I hire two guys to help load and secure load. No help given or offered when rented trailer. The business has only 1 driveway to return trailer, so you have to wait for trucks ahead to leave. I asked to use restroom, and told it was not for customers and had to drive to one. I was 38 minutes late on my return. Then I was charged a full day with insurance. Then, they charged my credit card twice, once for the agreed price ($62) then again for the 2 days rate... $134.20 for the rental, so out of pocket around $190. Any time I asked a question the response was the same by both people. We only work here, owner is not available, and we can not offer any solution to your problem. How many hours do I have to put into what should have been a simple solution? Then, just try calling U haul customer service... wow, shameful that a company so large has such poor service. Uhaul be be sued again and again..... MIke 562 972 2158

When some one calles and changes locations dont tell them yes and when they get their tell them they cant drop off equipment.!!!!! Had a really bad experience.

They did not do a thorough walkthrough with me nor did they open up the back of the Uhaul for me to check. I am getting charge for damages I did not create because I didn't inspect the vehicle myself nor am I properly trained to do so, damages were on roof.

Reservations in San Bernardino: Reservation personnel and Manager Mark S. was not educated to how local U-Haul dealers in the high desert operate. i.e. meaning in the High Desert dealers have each other's back and will back each other up by providing each other's needs. PLEASE call directly to your city U-Haul locations because the reservations personal office and the MANAGER people in the 909 area code DON'T HAVE A CLUE!!! Save yourself the battle, moving is hard enough without fighting for a little trailer. !! In addition, the team at the Mariposa location took care of every detail, was professional, worked for me and took immediate care for all of my needs!

This place is a joke. They have no signs or banners outside that even say uhaul. So I called to get directions and no one could help me. It's a scam, they want you to drive around and around to accumulate more milage therefore going over the specified mileage and cha ching they get to charge you.

Reservations did a horrible job, they said a we would have a 20 foot Uhaul with a dolly for my refrigerator for $110 total with no deposit. When we got there I had $110 only because that was what I was quoted and I ended up having to pay more than what I was quoted. I also never got a dolly because they wanted to charge me an extra $10 for the dolly. Reservations is not keeping up to what they promise on the phone now my refrigerator is broken. I will never trust Uhaul again after this incident. If you have a recorded conversation with me and the person whom made the reservation you will see why I am very unhappy with reservations and I would not recommend reservations. Everything went wrong.

Customer service was sub-par. The employee that hooked up the trailer barely spoke broken English. The trailer was not checked to ensure the lights worked properly resulting in beimg pulled over due to half the brake lights being out.

Truck was very clean and the people at Mariposa Tire were great. However, air conditioner was NOT working. This is a desert location and I was lucky it didn't get too hot as the very next day was in the 90's.

We reserved a truck that was for $29 but when they got there they charged us $39 and gave us a truck that we didn't want and was just about too big for us to use . Had a hard time getting it into the storage facility. Will NEVER use this place again! Didn't go over anything with us and let me drive out with the back wide open. Did not realize it until we got to our location.

The customer service was alright however at the Mariposa location there was a public restroom which I needed to use and was denied. When I say public, I mean it was marked with a men and women's public restroom placard, but after asking another employee, he said it was for employees only, but he was vague enough to sound clueless although I'm sure he has been working there for a while. I would ask management to look into this situation as I don't believe that the employees should not deny customers access to a public restroom for their own personal use only and would properly retrain the employees. If it is for employees only, then I suggest you remove the public placards and replace them with an employees only sign as not to give of a false impression although I don't understand why that would be company policy.

Get rid of the Employee that contacted me by phone. I extended another day to use the u-haul truck, he informed me a customer needs the truck , I stated that I was not done, your employee called me a BITCH several times, he refused to give me his name, I asked to speak with the manager and he hung up. This made u-haul look bad and I will tell everyone I know not to do business with that location. He almost ruin my day. He was not perfectional in handling his problem and he should be made to apologize to me as your customer.
