christopher pThe people and equipment were both very good. My issue is with the U-Haul system. First the software was down so I could not pick up on time, lost 3 hours. My original reservation included two items, trailer and safe trip. After I picked up the rental and drove to my destination I received an email/text stating that I needed to take pictures and did not have safe trip coverage. That is just backwards. Why is this information coming post my pickup. Not to mention the liability that I was put under because my safe trip coverage did not transfer from my reservation to the agreement at pickup. What should have been a quick and easy rental was frustrating and stressing (being possibly liable for $6000 for a damaged trailer because of an error on U-Haul's part. My son and I have rented trailers three time in the last several months but it is not worth the hassle. I will be purchasing my own trailer and avoiding this mess. Peter

Raenette WI went to the location and was told to go to another and when I reach I was told I hav to make a new reservation cause I am not on the system I lost one and half hours just to pick up a truck but the staff is nice to me so I hav to over look my up set feelings I love old hopewell rd location and math was so nice to me when I went there big up math I hope I spell his name right thanks for your service just the same hav a great day U-Haul I will be needing a truck Monday comeing a 15 ft will doo kool

Raymond OTry actually inspecting the vehicles I picked up my truck and as soon as I pulled off the lot low tire pressure indicator came up. I also got hit a fuel service fee even though I put the gas tank meter back to where it was when I picked it up Highway robbery

GABOR KI was overcharged excessively. I rented a truck for about two hours and drove 22 miles. I had to pay $67.83 when the advertised rate was $19.99 per day. Never was I told the price for the rental would be that high.

Melissa BThe pickup location has a strong cigarette odour. The gentleman who checked us in was okay, and there was a slight miscommunication. I requested one day (24 hours) of use but was given a document that was charged for $30 SaveMove. He could not change it back and told me to call customer service. Thanks to customer service, Aishia explained all the information on the phone with me. My suggestion is Uhaul need to provide training for check-in desk service.

David CEveryone was very friendly at Marty's. They were efficient and thorough. The van might have been a little cleaner, but it ran well and did the job. Marty was apologetic that it hadn't been swept more thoroughly. A nice place.

Walter JThe one thing I did not like was a charge of $25 for cleaning when the vehicle was returned within one hour, completely clean what I don’t like is the underlying charges that UHaul tries to get away with
PAMELA GMileage was inaccurate, as well as the gas. A worker directed by the guy behind the desk confirmed this issue and said he would let the guy behind the desk know . When I returned it , the guy behind the desk said he would check it in just leave the key. They still charged according to the inaccurate mileage, and charged me for gas even though I returned it with the same exact amount I picked it up with. Allegedly the U-haul rep does not work on the weekend so , AJ is going to address it on Monday when he is working.

EUGENE NThe texted link to scan the license in - the lighting in there was such that it just wouldn’t scan. The photo issue was 50% of my time inside the building. “Do it another way” erased my front photo each time. Then I couldn’t submit. That was basically the issue.

Bob KWhat can I say? I'll start with this, the owner really tried to make it right and refunded some money. Something is better than nothing. I moved from NY to FL. Left some stuff behind so I flew to NYC. Ubered to Wappingers (costly) got to the location only to find the keys were NOT left in the drop box or safe for after hours pick up. So I was stranded at the location, no keys, no car and in the rain to boot. Had to take an Uber back NYC only to return the next morning. U Haul's customer service simply said, "Well, try again in the morning". Useless. Marty thank you for being empathetic to the degree which you could. I applaud you for being human. Thanks again.
Carlos MI dropped the truck that I rented off at 3:26 pm when it was due back by 3:28 pm. We worked non stop to get everything out and gas the truck back up to return it on time. When we dropped it off the employees just took the keys and said the leave it where it was, nothing was signed, no receipt given. Then a few hours later I receive an email receipt charging me for an extra day stating that my drop off time was 6:03pm. I will be calling for a refund. The GPS on the truck I'm assuming can be checked to prove that it was parked at the drop off location on time.

CRISSY GIt seems laborious to constantly take pictures of my drivers license for each rental. You seem to have my information in your files. Like car rental companies, it would be great if you could use what you already have. A spot check is appropriate but the hassle of take pictures at places with spotty reception or wifi is a hindrance.
