My fiance booked the U-Haul with her credit card but in my name and when I got there he made me also use my credit card I told him we wanted to charge it to hers he said no problem and then ended up charging $99 on mine before I even returned it and then took him a while to fix it, because I didn't drive as many miles as I estimated. I think he means well but might need some additional training.

Would neverrrr recommend this guy to no one in the world. When I got my uhual the lady said that the reason it was left under E for gas is because it had been sitting for a while while police finished investigating it because someone had tried to steal it. She then told me it was the only 10 ft she had so she took a discount off of $28 and told me because i picked it up on E u return it the same way to my one way drop off. I put the entire $28 in the tank and drove 44 miles to to drop off location and the guy was super rude and would not accept the truck because it was only on a quarter tank so I called the lady and she explained to him that the gas is above the way I got the truck. He got off the phone and still tried to charge me $35 even though she had just explained it to him and wouldn't accept the uhual. He was very mean and yelling at me and told me to just leave the truck without even finishing all the paper work and every thing . He just wanted me to leave because I continued to explain that they cannot change rules or payment amounts after I've been told one thing.

I returned the rental days early and in a cleaner condition then when I got it. I was not upset that the truck was a little dirty when I received it. The issue I have is when I contacted the drop off site the person, man I spoke with was immediately defensive when I asked what the additional $27 + charge was on the return. He stated that the truck was dirty and that he had to sweep it. I told him that I cleaned the truck and even took out trash that was in there when I got it. He staid “ do want you want call Uhaul I don't care!” I said thank you and I will. I would Have preferred him to just explain the charge however he chose to be rude and dismissive. This is not what I expect from a global brand. Customer service is essentially the only differential when selecting a service. The Jupiter location was wonderful, accommodating and willing to explain and go the extra mile. Tampa location was an experience that I would prevent me from renting again Thank you John Martin

Despite your mobile app's purpose being convenience. It took an hour after my reservation time for my to gain access my truck. In addition, your mobile application lags tremendously. Pictures do not upload in a timely manner. I have resorted to use another moving service in the future.

First, we were told to go to a location that was very difficult to find and when we finally did, he sent us to Matt's. My husband mentioned to the man there that we never received the furniture pads we paid for and that Wendall authorized 50 extra miles. My husband also followed the instructions for refilling the gas to the proper mark. After dropping off the truck and receiving the bill via email, we were charged for the extra miles and 2 gallons of gas as well as weren't credited for the missing furniture pads. My husband called Wendall who called Matt's and said a full refund of the charge would be issued. Instead, we were credited only 1/2 of the charge that shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Mr.Matt was very nice and friendly. The u-haul main base took a long while for him to get in touch by phone in trying to figure out my billing and he was not able to insert all info. of mine,so he had to call you guys. again.He was not at fault. Thank You

It rained during part of my drive and the truck leaked water all over my things. When I got to the storage facility they wouldn’t let me store anything because it was wet and would cause mold. I had to go buy towels and come back and dry everything off. It was very inconvenient but thank goodness my stuff wasn’t ruined. Uhauls should not leak. I told the store owner when I returned and he said “I’ll have it repaired.”

I was very disappointed in my first truck share mobile check in for the scheduled U-Haul. There was a glitch in the system during the live verification process. All throughout the first 40 minutes of my 4 hour scheduled allowed time with the U-Haul rental, I was put on hold & transferred two times with customer service and was not helped by the agent that ended up speaking with me to correct the issue. Also, I was attempting to contact a live agent through the online system but, there was no response. Until I finally uploaded the incorrect information is when the live agent responded that additional information was needed to verify identity. So, the live agent was misinterpreting the second contact information that I was providing as the same person as my additional driver because the agent did not pay attention to the two names and mistakenly assumed it was the same person when it was two different people. All in all, from the glitch in the live verification system to customer service not being able to help to the live agent not responding then misinterpreting the given information (I have screenshots were the agent admits the issue and apologizes), I was not pleased. It took almost an hour of my scheduled time rented with the U-Haul to be able to check in to retrieve the U-Haul keys to start my moving process. I would not recommend to someone using this mobile check in feature because the live agents are not available to help & customer service was not trained on how the mobile check in works. I also replied through email my concerns after receiving a check out email asking for my experience.

This is the second rental with this location. It is close to my home and my storage. Every year I clean it and give to the salvation army and it is very convenient and I don't have to use a lot of mileage so it saves me money. Thanks

Everything was ok, the only issue I didn’t like is the fuel level. Why is it on the 3/4!!!! To trick us and fell it more, or less so either way we be charged more? I wish you can get it to a full tank so to return the truck with full tank. Thanks

When I picked up the truck yesterday, the attendant was complaining about the government workers being lazy. He gave me the key to the truck. I asked, "Aren't you going to check out the truck?" He said "No, you have insurance if you hit anything". I use the truck, swept out the back last night and brought it back today. He checked the truck out and found a little bit (very little) of dirt on the floor boards of the driver's side and some leaves I missed in the back of the truck. He said I would be charged for cleaning out the truck. I said give me a broom and I will sweep it out, which I did. My wife who was waiting saw me and came over and opened the passenger side of the vehicle. She found an old plastic soda cup, paper work for someone named Rhonda, and other trash in the door well. I went back and found a soda can, and trash from McDonalds under the passenger seat. I was immediately incensed and probably used stronger language than I needed to convey my displeasure. But being told I would be charged for cleaning out the truck after I had done so the night before, sweeping out the truck today and then finding trash from previous renters was a little to much. Bottom line: (1) I heard your attended complain about government workers. I don't need to hear about his personal problems and I use to work for the government. (2) He did not check out the truck before letting me take it, although I asked him to so. (3) He gave me a truck that had trash in it from previous renters (4) He wanted to charge me for very minor debris which I offered to clean out. Very poor customer service. It has been my experience that for every unhappy customer who complains in writing there is 10 to 15 unhappy customers who just did not want to take the time to voice their dissatisfaction. Since I am semi retired now, I have the time.

After reserving a truck and prepaying with guarantee, I was disappointed to find the location out of business. It took several hours to coordinate this rental. The process was not easy and the truck could use a good clean as the cab had animal hair, debris and French frys on the floor.

I order a dolly and was not on the truck when I got home. I called the location and never pick up there phone. Also, I cleaned the truck prior of return but I was still charge a cleaning fee. I am really frustrated, this is the first time this ever happen.

Dropped it off after hours. Not the one on the agreement. It was closed and locked up. Now i get a bill for cleaning. Didn't know I was suppose to clean it. Also says gas is low. DUE TO FINDING A NEW LOCATION TO LEAVE IT. this took my time and gas for my personal vehicle following me. Gas was still much closer than he shows. It might have been a 16th off. That's all. I still need to move my furniture out of storage to its final destination. If these bogus charges stay on my account. I definitely wont use u haul and may call visa to have them removed. Thanks.
