Had to wait for an hour for someone to come give me the keys after calling U-HAUL twice trying to find out how to get the equipment I rented. Owner finally showed up and I got the truck. Was only supposed to drive about 60 miles total. I was picking up furniture from a rental company and had to be there by a certain time but because I was late getting the truck, the rental company sent my items to a different store for storage thinking I wasn’t coming. I had to double the amount of miles I had to drive to move everything I was supposed to move and of course had to pay $1 a mile. A $100 rental turned into almost $200 just in rental and mileage plus the amount of fuel I had to put back into the truck. That’s money I definitely could have used elsewhere but these people don’t care.

Allan SI reserved a UHAUL for pickup, but when I went to pick up the UHAUL using the mobile app, the app said they could not locate the location of my keys, and I was unable to receive the keys to the truck, but I was still charged for it, despite never gaining access to it.

Sandra LCab of truck “looked clean” but there was a sticky residue in cup holder. (We cleaned for next family) The back of the truck had not been swept, looked like someone unloaded in the rain, lots of dirty footprints. Other than cleanliness it was ok.

To begin with i rented a 26 foot truck from the Breese Il location on Wednesday, on Thursday i was called by a uhaul agent to confirm my reservation. As he bang talking he said my pickup was in Belleville Il. I stated no it is for Breese IlL on Saturday the 17th. He said he was sorry but the location where my reservation was made would not have the equipment. So I cancelled the reservation. On Thursday i called around and was unable to reserve a truck. On Friday i reserved a 26' truck at the Lebanon Il location called McClerry sFe storage for 9am. I arrived at 855am to find that the owner was not there and everything locked up. I called several times and no answer. I called uhaul and they said they could switch it over to a mobie pickup and transfered me to the verify site which i had to wait on hold to speak with for 50 min. During holding a a customer who was picking up a boat said he had the owners personal cell. He called him and the owner said oh i be up there in 10 min. I waited anout 20 min...still on hold with uhaul. The owner showed up and said oh sorry about that i got caught up in my grandsons t-ball game. I told him ive had 6 people waiting on me for an hour. His response was well just make sure that you put McClerry was late in my review ..with an attitude that cleary showed he did not care at all. Then when i went to inspect the truck it was on a 1/4 of gas. This is a horrible experince from start to finish!!! Completely unsatisfied with the owner and then having to wait for 50 min on hold with uhaul during this frustrating time. Definately unsatisfied!

Yolanda WIt wasn’t caused by this location but there was confusion regards reservation as I changed the pick up time in my UHaul online account as per UHaul’s website, apparently the original pick up location was not aware of the time change and no longer had a truck available, I am not sure but the confusion was on the part of UHaul
