Love using the McKays Hardware for my U-Haul needs. They're organized, cheerful, and extremely helpful. Being able to avoid my local U-Haul locations and use this U-Haul satellite locations is wonderful. I always dread going to the regular U-haul locations. McKays will be getting all my U-haul needs. Eric PBrought unit in with gas guage at or above when i picked up and was charged two gallons at 4.50 per gallon. Just spent over $1500 and i get knicked for another 10 bucks.
DAVID HBetter clarity on a full tank. You said our truck had a full tank which it showed the needle on “F” so I filled it before returning it. I with that price I thought I didn’t use $40 worth of gas as I only moved less than a mile from a house to my apt. That’s when I saw the needle went way past the “F” when I filled the tank. It’s been a long while since I have rented a truck or car so my lesson learned- keep peaking at the gas gauge until the needle touches the “F.”

ANDRES AIt took the rental agent about 30 minutes for each transaction. The U-Haul server was apparently running extremely slowly. There were two customers ahead of me. It took one hour and 20 minutes to pick up the vehicle! I had to hire someone to help me with the move. He was charging me $45 per hour, so the wait cost me $60 in payment to my idle helper. I had a reservation, but the truck I ordered was not available so I had to accept a truck without a ramp which made the mover much harder and it took much longer. Never again!

ISMAEL PWhile I can back up a 20 ft steel dump trailer with relative ease, I could not back up this little thing (without lots of room) for the life of me. The drop off area was very tight, and the guy wanted it backed between two tightly parked trailers building the building. I offered to unhook it close by and move it in by hand. He insisted, and thankfully my brother came with me and was able to do it. The guy then picked it up and moved it again by hand, and then said it’s “really light” and laughed. Not sure why we couldn’t have done it that way in the first place when I was stated I was uncomfortable and worried about backing into the other trailers. Will not return to this location, and will always find a full UHaul location on future trips to the Phoenix area, as they have always been exceptionally helpful.
