I needed a truck at the last minute and decided to give this location a try. I called for availability and prices. The man had an elevated milage charge than any other locations in the area. I asked and he said this is just what Uhaul mandates. Nonetheless, I proceeded to go to the location to rent and pick up the truck. He, again, stated the price and I signed all the paperwork on a small tablet, handled my business and came back within a couple of hours. They checked the truck specs, all checked out, and then he tells me the milage and full charge. The milage was 10 cents higher than what he said on the phone and in the store. I disputed this and he said 'yeah, I did say that but what can I do, this is the charge from Uhaul." The difference would equate to $10, which isn't breaking but it comes down to the principle of what you presented your service as. If I went into the place of business and said I was $10 short, he wouldn't have rented the truck to me. I told him he needs to honor the price that was stated or I was going to dispute the charge to my credit company. He got belligerent, got in my face and started yelling that it wasn't his fault. I am a petite woman and he is around 6'5/6'6. He was yelling and very hostile in front of his other staff and customers(the location is in a gas station.) He was yelling so loud and getting aggressively close to me, I just walked out the door for my safety. The manager of this location is extremely hostile, confrontational and attempts to intimidate you. I would't recommend this location to anyone unless you like getting your money taken by hyper-aggressive men.

Poor customer service at check in, he didn't know how to do a few things. He wasn't friendly. The air conditioning knob in the truck was broken (it's Arizona!!!!!). Unacceptable. Will never rent through a third party again. Should I use Uhaul in the future, it will be at a Uhaul specific location.

My only suggestion is warning renters up front that the mobile pickup process involves taking photos around the truck, etc. so they can factor in a little extra time for pickup. It's a super smooth process but not quite "grab and go" fast (understandably so).

The staff did a great job managing what they had however the gas was stated to be higher than it actually was so they helped change the contract. The truck cab is dusty, gross, and stinks. The a/c hardly worked so I kept it off to save on gas. The truck functioned just fine. There was a smaller newer vehicle but I don't think they wanted to rent it to me.

The mobile location services are not great, I had to get out of my car and walk into the store with my phone in order for it to recognize I was at the right place, it would not work from the comfort of my vehicle sitting out front of the store.

They were like surprised when they saw me and took a while on their personal cell phones to find my reservation. I had a reservation number but they didn't want it. I requested a furniture dolly and was charged for it but when I went to get the truck they had none in stock. I did get reimbursed my $7 but i was really depending on a furniture dolly. Also, when I got to my apartment to load tru k their was a appliance dolly in back truck. They have no clue or keep up with their inventory. I usually rent from your Sun Lakes U (so much better) I live close to this branch.

Irvin DI was charged twice for the pads and utility dolly. Dont know whose mistake was that but I still couldnt manage time to call uhaul and resolve this issue. It also took me around 40 mins to check the truck out. They have to reduce that time. I will not recommend anyone further.

Hrs to get me settled with a truck, kid had to try on teblet then he has his boss on phone and every customer would be taken care of immediately , so I had to wait until he was done with one person after another twice! Got changed for stuff I didn't agree to and the dollie was not secure down , no moving blankets, rollers (they had it inside for store use,) and it had no ramp , my body is covered with bruises from moving because my truck had no ramps!!! But that's not even the worst thing...I took pictures of everything and I was untrusting of the place and suspision's was spot on ! The miles on their system were different! The guy wanted to charge me for a full gas tank , ... U-HAUL was dirty, sticky and dusty..I cleaned it ofcourse because I didn't want a cleaning fee that I didn't deserve. If I wouldn't have taken pictures and videos I will have been charged for everything that I pointed out. Had to show him the video of the items not provided, how dirty it was the miles and the amount of gas it had... And for him to believe me the video details of time stamp to easy his mind that I took the picture and video before I left. Do not go to that gas station it's a scam.

David HI’ve never experienced picking up a uhaul almost completely empty on gas. Was very annoyed as the check in took longer than expected then we had to get gas not to mention there was a fuel charge of $9 on the receipt?

Disputed the rental charge because I only needed a 10ft truck. I hope that the amount I paid was for a 10ft truck. The trip overall went well and returned the truck with no issues.
