Give more notice regarding the location of units before the booked pickup date. I had to drive 9hrs round trip to pick up this instead of locally like I had booked

Daniel KThe Victoria Rd location cancelled our reservation twice an hour before we were to pick it up. The third time we showed up at the Keltic Drive location and no truck was there. We got a truck in North Sydney who gave us a deal on it due to our troubles. After returning it they charged us $200 extra dollars for no reason. The vehicle was dirty when we got it but we scrubbed it clean before returning it.

The trailer I had rented was sadly damaged upon arrival (hats of to the staff member that hooked up the trailer for me for noticing very quickly!) so they swapped me over to another one of the same size. Absolutely quick and painless for the customer. Drop off was just as easy, with the staff sorting everything for me. I didn’t even have to step foot in the office! I’ve dropped off trailers to this location before outside of hours and I loved how convenient it was, nice to know the staff there manage to make it even more convenient and friendly!

Lenus SThe vehicle was dirty when we received it, the battery light was on and couldn't offer us a different vehicle and refused to fix it ..told us it's take it or leave it and if anything happens on our 5 hour long move that they will come tow it. And then charged us a 25 dollar cleaning fee said there was coffee everywhere I don't even drink coffee lol absolutely terrible service all around

Sidney aFuel mileage information for the vehicle being used would be very helpful in knowing approximately how much fuel to put in the tank. I returned the vehicle with more than half a tank left in it, and there is no way to get a credit for this, this situation could be improved.

Matthew GGot charged for extra mileage on truck when I originally put that it was for 100 k . We were low on funds and tried to do this move in a pinch with working from home. My husband was hospitalized for a week before move. Funds were limited and we got over charged by 302.00 and originally paid 119.00 plus had to pay for our new house and groceries . Needless to say I am very disappointed. I always use uhaul for al of my moving . I have never ever had an experience like this before using this company . I have always had good things to say about uhaul. It’s always been at a decent price and never ever over charged. This might be the last time. As I am not a very happy camper with being over charged on limited funds.

Colleen RThe location was a bit out of our way for where we needed to go, unfortunately we didn’t have much choice because where we originally reserved didn’t have the size we needed available. We asked if we could drop it off closer to home, considering it goes by KM, but it was an extra charge. I think there should have been an accommodation made for us to drop off closer to where we were rather than drive the extra KMs and be charged more just to drop it off.

Al GThe vehicle was clean and equipped however I did not feel safe in the truck. It felt like it was struggling to get to 80 km, it was shakey loud and honestly it felt like the truck was going to fall apart. A little maintenance would go a long way.

Thomas AHi guys, I had the worst experience with Uhual truck and auto trailer. I had so many issues with them. I'm just wondering if Uhaul doesn't do regular maintenance on its vehicles. Auto Trailer • Low pressure on all tires • A tire exploded when I was driving. Thankfully nothing happened to me, and my personal car. • The tire exploded because it was so old and the rubber was so dry. I sent all the pictures to the Uhual customer service. Truck • Burning gas like crazy, I could drive 200km with one tank; it's insane!! Unfortunately, I had to use 10 tanks to drive 2000km. • I was on the highway when the tire of the auto-trailer exploded. I had to leave the 4-way lights on, by doing that for 3 hours, the truck's battery died. Moreover, it was 11:30 pm, and the truck had no lights. So dangerous! This means the battery was so bad that it should have held power for 12 hours with the 4-way lights on. I'm so upset with the experience that I had with Uhual. I want to get a refund for all the trouble that I had. Thanks,

melinda iFully recommend location however the website to do the return wouldn’t allow me to get past the first page kept asking gas millage and kms. I refreshed my browser I got to the next screen it then asked me for pictures and if the trailer was clean I selected yes and that there was no damage but the screen wouldn’t highlight for me to continue, I called the uhaul contact the estimated wait time was less then 5 min I waited over 20 the representative had to put a note on file.

KEVIN NI was told by the owner of McCormicks, that I would not be able to return the uhaul vehicle on Sunday, as they were closed. Upon calling the 1-800 # , I was informed that yes, I could drop it off at McCormick's , but a fee would be applicable. Mr McCormick did not inform me of this, just simply stated, you cannot drop it off here as we are closed. He was not personable to deal with.
