Drivers side mirror cracked and blind spot mirror missing. First truck had engine senor message and same with the 2nd truck changed to. both needing sensor replaced. Otherwise, good experience.

The people were pleasant and the reservation process was easy. The parking was a bit close and I can see novice drivers having issues backing in without hitting anything.

ARTHUR KIt would be nice if the cargo van had hand grips at the back doors and the side door. It would make it easier for short people like me to get in and out. I know that is a make and style issue but ot would be nice.

David WWhen I first got the trunk the gas was only filled up to 1/4 of a tank so I refilled it up to 1/3 of a tank when I returned it and I got charged $35 for gas which is ridiculous. Overall my experience was super stressful when it was supposed to be easy and smooth. Lastly, when I handed them the keys to the U-Haul I was told I will be receiving a confirmation email within an hour. And after 3 hours passed I still did not get anything and I had to call them and let them know. Which lead me to find out they misplaced the key and had to find where it was. I shouldn’t have needed to call them regarding this when it was handed directly to an employee.

The person who was at the desk the next day when I came to pick up the truck made the rental very difficult and an unpleasant experience. The fuel tank was about 3/8 full. It was also shown in the text link. The desk clerk told me it was 3/4 full.

SANTINA KNever take equipment from a third party location. The truck was a piece of junk for a one long haul, the cup tray was broken chewed by an dog, the arm rest was broken would not open and they refused to help with the car tow equipment needed for the vehicle I was towing. The wipers didn’t work while it started raining on my trip, no wiper fluid, the truck would jump for about 2 minutes when taking off. A good amount of my property in the truck was damaged due to this truck not being properly maintained and serviced for this trip. The truck was far from a “Gentle Ride” for a 45 hour trip.
Alisia MNot sure why it is becoming the U-Haul standard to rent dirty vehicles. Where us the pride? That being said, the staff at McClendons are friendly and very efficient.

Ahmad SThe truck I had reserved more than a week in advance wasn't there when I arrived.. Costumer service wasn't the best.. A d wasn't able to accommodate my needs.. after 30 minutes finally a truck was returned and I was able to rent it. The truck wasn't clean ams smell like a ashtray. The back was dirty to I had to cleaned before using it. Unfortunately my cellphone camera isn't working so can't take pictures to provide. The truck brakes where questionable and when went to add fuel something was wrong it give me a really hard time to add gas. In general a.bad experience, in 20+ years using uhaul this time was no good.
