Explain more clearly how the fees are being charged (mileage, gas, ins,, etc). Tell the customer you are being charged $1.79 per mile, from the day you take it, to the day you return it.

U haul change you what they want which over changing . I paid over 1,400 to use a 10” truck for 1 day. I would recommend u haul to my worst enemy. They suck!!!

Picked up my 26’ U-Haul and one I start my move, I noticed the alignment on the truck was so bad it took up 1 1/2 of the lanes on the highway while driving “straight.” Because all my belongings were already in the truck when I identified the issue, I had no choice but to get to my final destination. When I dropped off the truck, I left a note and called U-Haul to relay the concern of the truck. The representative did not ask me any questions and just stated he would inform the appropriate individuals. At least thank me for identifying a hazard! Horrible customer service.

While I didn't have a problem with the pickup, I wouldn’t recommend it. I more upset with U-Haul, that I rented a truck Togo from the DC area, to Kansas City, and also picked up a load share, and U-haul thought it was cool to give me an old crappy truck without cruise control. The headlights were misaligned, one pointing down, and the other pointing to the left, to where I couldn’t see more than 40 feet in front of me, and the steering was extremely misaligned too. But not having cruise control for the over 1000 mile journey, plus 300 or so miles for the load share, thanks U-Haul. I didn’t know U-Haul still had trucks without cruise control. The inside of the truck being dirty and smelly was the least of my concerns. I am going to be moving a smaller load when I move here in a bit, definitely not going with U-Haul.

Make sure the trunks are clean and smoke free. It cigarette ashes, pencil, and open syrup bottle. In the truck, smell like smoke and the window were halfway down.

I was not happy with the service I received from New York Fried Chicken because the service guy gave my truck to another customer and it resulted into me driving to a another location to pick up my rental truck and they didn’t have the utility Dolly as well as the heavy duty appliance dolly that I needed and I feel that I am deserving a credit for this in adequate position I was put in to.

I want to know why is that the man told me to bring the vehicle back the next day by 4pm for $100 and if I bring it back early, I get some money back. I had the vehicle for 4 hours and replaced the gas and was charged for gas as well. I was told when I dropped it off that I will get reimbursed my money and have not

I was charged 50 miles for a 28 mile trip. Furthermore I returned the vehicle at 6:30pm the receipt says 7pm. I was way overcharged

The service from the actual person was great, but the vehicle is not maintained at all. The license plate didn't match up for accuracy, and the buttons and dials to operate the vehicle were missing and/or broken. The vehicle smelled horrible, but I didn't have time to try and exchange it. It was not a pleasant experience riding in it; however, at last, the AC was in working order because it was extremely hot outside, so we appreciated that!

Renting the truck was a smooth process. With the hassles of moving, and finances that are attached no one wants to stress about a moving truck. My experience could have been better, however due to unforeseen circumstances for my move on yesterday, I returned the truck 2 hrs later than what I was supposed to and the guy charged me for an extra day?? There should be a better solution. But sometimes business don't consider being service oriented, as opposed to being money hungry. Why potentially lose a customer when this was a perfect opportunity for retaining a customer. I moved into a building where I lost time because of it being only one elevator available and I reserved the elevator ahead of time for my move, I had to roll with the punches and keep it moving as I came in he was actually not even paying me any attention initially because he was on the phone. Then when he went to check all the things in the truck, he said hi and then finished out my transaction. These days service is out of the window unfortunately.

The cost to rent the truck is expensive. The deposit is outrageous. I never paid over $100.00 to rent a truck. Additionally, I returned with the truck the representative was on the phone (appeared to be a personal phone call). I say that because he barely greeted me as he was inspecting the truck, as I watch him continue his phone call, I the paying customer had to ask if everything was fine with the return. I promise you I will NOT return to this location.

The attendants for the U-haul areas of this business were efficient, friendly, and greeted me in the parking area to assist me with checkout. The U-haul app presented glitches upon picking-up the truck as well as upon returning it, so I recommend going inside during store hours to check in/out with store staff to save time. The app however did make extending use of the truck for an additional day simple/easy. Overall I had an accommodating. convenient, and reliable experience with this location. Definitely recommend.

The tire on the Cargo Van we were rented was in major disrepair and almost blew before we realized there was an issue. The vehicle was clearly not inspected by the location before they rented it to us. We were told by road side service that it was old and had essentially dry rotted.
