This Uhaul location has always been reliable. I've had a number of last-minute rental needs, and they always provide. Easy pick up and drop off, kind staff, solid experience.
JEREMY HThe worker was sleeping in his car outside, so all the keys and equipment inside the building were unlocked, within reach, and unattended. When I was finally able to reach a worker in a nearby business, they just ran over to his car and woke him up. He came out smelling very very strongly of marijuana and couldn't keep his eyes open. I waited 10 minutes for him to hand me keys even though I had already filled out all the paperwork in the app. I had to remind him who I was twice during that 10 minutes. They also didn't have any moving blankets and the cab of the truck had leftover items from the last renter (large container of half-drank liquid, some cardboard and trash). Overall, this experience was terrible.
Jacob MAlthough the owner gives an option for self-checkout, the keys are all locked inside of the building which negates the self checkout. Also, the owner is not available on-site to provide the keys at the agreed upon rental time. Thus today, my 9am rental became a 10a rental. The loss of one hour had a significant effect on how the rest of the day played out. I recommend having a lockbox outside to provide key access to self-check out customers. Otherwise, no other complaints. I will use this location again.

JULIE Fmy trailer had a completely bald tire and they let me leave with it. it was shaking and wobbling amd jerking and i had to stop an hour later and switch trailers and move all my furniture. could have been a disaster.

GEORGIA LIt took 3 different reservations to insure a dolly. And on the day of it took driving to 4 different U-Haul stores to finally wind up getting what was needed. It was a lot of wasted time when you are told to prevent that particular things, all you are supposed to is make reservations. "NOT!!!" It was very poorly handled, and they could care less because you either needed to item or not. If you needed it, then you would put up with. This is very hard to know about a company. I was not satisfied with the true efforts that was offered. I just had someone drive 200 miles, and we still could not have things in place.

PRANAV RI will never use U-Haul ever again. I paid $150 for my truck rental for 10 hours. I had a 26 foot truck. I reserved the furniture dolly and a utility dolly. When I got there, they were all out of furniture dollies so we had to use two utility dollies. It makes no sense that they wouldn’t have enough supplies for people who are renting their trucks. When I returned the equipment on time I went through the app to check the vehicle back in. And saw 89 extra dollars of pending charges. None of these charges were explained prior to me checking the vehicle out and I’ve already paid $150. Nowhere in Atlanta would you rent a moving truck for 10 hours and pay over $200. I feel cheated and I am going to take my business elsewhere. U-Haul will never see me again.

MITCHELL EThe Truck was newer than expected, and the rental experience was efficient and easy. The online paperwork was helpful. I wish someone had picked up the phone when I called to see if we could return by 12:20 instead of 12:00. Our rental started at 12:20, but our contract said due back at 12. We rushed and made it on time, but it would have been nice to know if the full return time was indeed 24 hours.

Yvonne PYour employees are rude disrespectful do not listen. Speak to people rude about customer service experience I will never ever rent from them again. This is the second bad experience. I have with U-Haul. The U-Haul on Candler Road is the same way rude and disrespectful. You guys need to upgrade your employees and properly train them and know how to speak to customer. I know how to handle a customer Very very, very bad experience.
ANDERSON HI came up from Florida to help my son move and booked a truck from this location online. The two gentlemen that worked on that day were very professional and polite. Everything went smooth. I would recommend this location, should anyone need any services from UHAul. Claude 👍

Fritz BFix tire pressure before rental. Fill gas higher than near empty when handing off to customer. Don't indicate higher gas level on contract compared to actual gas level at customer handoff.
Frederick COur vehicle could not give the speed needed for highway driving. Returning to the pickup location it ran hot We were told to calll 800-haul for roadside assistance. That wait would have been an hour but After a 15 mute wait the truck was able to start for us to return the vehicle.

CLARENCE JI think the price was a scam. It is advertised as $19.99. I was forced to buy insurance through the vendor as they said their particular insurance was mandatory. I was forced to pay for 50 miles despite me only driving 6 miles. I expected there to be some hidden fees but I didn’t expect it to cost 5x the advertised rate.

Scott AIngrid, the representative who assisted me with the rental, was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, efficient, and had a friendly and professional personality. The van arrested check engine light was on. Pulled out to return, but no obvious problems were apparent. Windshield was filthy to the point I had to stop and clean it to continue driving.

ASHLEY GWell the customer should have a clean and clear pathway to the trailer they're renting. The customer should not be doing any manual labor your employees should be doing just to get to their trailer. Customers shouldn't have to squeeze their vehicles between a tight area between two of your uhaul trucks, through mudd and dirt and leaves to get to a trailer. Customers shouldn't be lied to abt hitch equipment being included in the price of the trailer rental, only to find out the hitch isn't convered. But not only that, it's cost is 2 times that for the same hitch home depot sells.

BRITTANY DThe MDJ Grayson location is a diamond in the rough. It's not shiny like the main U-haul locations, but the staff and vehicles are always top-notch. If they don't have trucks available, then I'd be very reluctant to go to another location.
REGINALD OThe people were nice, the van was clean in the cargo and cab. HOWEVER, the tire pressure was all over the place. I was casually warned that the lights on the dash were the tire sensors. I get that and am used to it from my own vehicle, but it's a little scary when all 4 tires are under and the rear right in particular was nearly 40lbs low! Major safety issue. And since they know that, why not just bring the tires to proper pressure?! IF it's a problem with the TPMS system, then fix it! Also, the person who needed to check the van back in upon return was not available so I didn't get an immediate receipt. Stupid of me to let that go because I later got an e-receipt that showed I was charged $15 for Safe Move, which I had declined when I booked the rental. An email complaint about this went unanswered. Would never use or recommend this location again.
