The pick up location went very well.
barbra bI submitted a complaint already as well as attacked photos of the check engine light on because during the trip our battery died twice and had to be jumped, the car was making a funny sound the whole way we thought we were gonna just stop.
Lynda NThe pickup location was changed last minute to a location 15 miles from the original pickup location, even though I reserved truck 3 weeks in advance. I thought I would be offered compensation but there was no mention of it.

Pete CHmmm. The only thing I can think of is lower the prices. That $19.95 was kinda of deceiving. But hey everyone has to make a buck. I will definitely be back. The man that ran the place was very professional and kind.. U-haul lucked out getting him.!! Give that man a raise.

Leonides PThe merchant was not helpful. The fuel amount on contract and truck was wrong. Had the merchant verified before leaving. Engine was making a noise merchant told us not a big deal to take the truck anyways. The truck broke down on the way to return it. Couldn't use the truck because of the engine noise. Broke down on the way to return the truck. Truck fuel level was above what we got the truck at time of break down . Truck couldn't be return probably because of breakdown. Called road side service. Truck was towed to a Uhaul location by Uhaul. I'm being charged a wrong return location fee . Is not right because truck broke down. I'm being charged for fuel when truck had above amount of fuel. I also rented a trailer from Uhaul to move from Florida to California and the lights on the trailer stop working. Very disappointed.
Leonides PThey are not open on Sundays and are closed after 5pm. I also asked for a dolly I didn't get. They took off the charge for it but it made my moving experience harder.

SONIE DEverything went well. The front desk girl had to redo the paperwork so it took a while, other than that she and everyone was very nice.
lacy wThis is a used tire shop that offers U-Haul rentals on the side. Seven years ago, I rented a 10-foot U-Haul truck for a local move from this location. The experience then was the same as now. I felt rushed and in the way of a tire delivery that was happening at the same times as drop off.

shirley HI was given the wrong keys to truck I rented, the key worked on truck to start it but would not work on it when I loaded up the truck to leave storage. Had to leave it overnight. I was told I took the wrong truck. Hmmm The trucks shifting was very low and struggled to get gears. Very stressful
Maria CThe air conditioner didn’t work at all (it blew out hot air) and we moved on a day that was 107 degrees and it was a painful experience to not have AC. The blinkers didn’t work properly and we had to pump the breaks multiple times for them to hold pressure. We had a bas experience, please fix this for the next customer.

Veronica GMobile check in was useless because the appliance dolly that I ordered wasn’t even in the truck. So regardless I had to go inside. Then I realized the truck didn’t have a ramp so I had to switch trucks. Overall process was easy and didn’t take long
Maha AUpdate your cars. It was. Gas guzzler. Filled the tank twice to get 200 miles away and it was shaking on the highway. No aux, Bluetooth or any updated capabilities for music.
Tanisha WLocation is not suitable for after hours drop off. The gates are closed so you cannot leave U-Haul truck on property. There is no safe place to park the U-Haul truck and equipment directly outside of the property because it is on a busy main street with tow away zones (bus stop, fire lane). I have pictures with proof of the parking situation at this location.

Porfirio DFix the smell of the leaky fuel line on the unit I used, the transmission was down shift way more than needed, the rear suspension made the ride awful I could feel every tiny bump on the road. The staff attending me were excellent how ever.
Oscar UI rented a U-Haul this weekend Nov 20th. I was moving my fiance down to the town I live in. She lives an hour and forty five minutes away. I rented a 15' trailer from a location that's less then a mile from her apartment. 2 days prior to my rental I was called to confirm my reservation as well as to inform me that they didn't have any 15' trucks available and only had a 26' truck. I am no semi truck driver and to now nearly double the size of the truck is excessive. I reluctantly agreed as my hands were tied. This Saturday I drive nearly 2 hours to the location of the rental, to find out that they don't have a reservation for me and they changed the pick up location too a business that's 19 miles away. I drove across town to pick it up and am informed that they don't have the dolly that I reserved. After paying I was told to wait by the truck for the employee to bring the furniture dolly and pads to the truck. I wait approximately 10-15 minutes, no one showed up. This location is actually a mechanic shop. One of the mechanics ask me if I needed help and I stated I was waiting for my items. He said that they didn't have any pads. I asked about the furniture dolly. He said let me find one. They looked all over the place and was unable to locate one. So now all 3 items I rented I was unable to get. I drive across town to the apartment where I have to load box by box and piece of furniture by piece of furniture due to the fact I had no assistance from a dolly. I called today to see if there was anything they could do for me due to out of pocket expenses and they said they would issue me a VIP card for a discount on my next moving services. I tried to explain that I may never move again, it isn't like a poor dining experience.
JOHN RThe guys hooking up the trailer was not very knowledgeable and said I knew more about the trailer than he did. He hooked up the safety chains wrong, did not cross them under the trailer hitch, the safety chains were also about 2 feet too long, safety chains only had an S hook with a small rubber piece to hold it on the chain and not a hook that hooked to the hitch on the truck.

ESPERANZA CI reserved at Bullard and Blackstone for a specific time slot to drop off at 5:30. Not only was my location changed but upon arriving at the pick up location it seems like four businesses all rolled into one and not a very safe area. I was only informed at pick up that the location closed it's gates at 4:50 and I had to make special arrangements to drop it off Monday morning. This was a massive inconvenienced considering our work schedules.
MARIA FCustomer service great. I made a mistake and they help me fix it, instead of just saying too bad it’s your mistake. Also, was treated as a customer, meaning equal exchange of service, you provide the equipment and I pay you for it. At other places, where mug shots are taken, and questions such as what are you doing with it, and give us all the places where you hang out. It makes the customer feel they should be grateful that uhaul gave them permission and not an equal exchange of services.
NORMAN EIt doesn't look like much when you drive by, but the staff are friendly, accommodating, and the vehicle was ready and working perfectly.
GRAYSON AThe location was supposed to be open until 5:30, but was closed at 3:30. The gate was locked and there was no sign or number to call except the general uhaul customer service number. Had to be on hold for over 45 minutes before the customer service rep was able to find me a location to drop it off at. Wasted over an hour of moving day.

DAIZELL OOn my way to Fresno, I was called to drop off my unit to a different location. I choose the original drop-off location because I was moving thing into my storage unit at that location. After 22 hours of driving, I had to drive longer in the opposite direction for me to drop off my truck. It would be nice to avoid this type of inconvenience.
