The rental location was very helpful. The company wasn't. My initial reservation was on the way to my destination. They changed the pickup location to one that was 30 miles out of the way. 60 extra miles to pick up and 60 to return.PAUL M.

When we set up online-we were supposed to pick up in Evansville, IN where we were moving from, but Friday before received a text stating we had to drive to Princeton, IN way out of our way to pickup truck. Before we left we were told to put gas back it started and we did on the gas gage in truck. Of course on the paper shows something different and was charged for not replacing. Between 3/4 and full we were told, not 7/8 which is not on gas gage on truck only on paper. I have called and since git that reimbursed. You all need to clarify your documents.Jeffrey M.

I paid for a truck with a/c, my truck didn't have working a/c. Last time I rented a Penske, shoulda stuck with them. They have newer equipment and better maintained. Renting location was no help at all.RICK S.

The place was great however Nadia from customer service was horrible to work with. She called us the night before and tried to cancel our reservation and would not listen to anything we said. She kept insisting that the place where we were picking up the truck was closed the next day. Even though we called the place directly to reserve the truck. She would not listen and talked over us the entire conversation. Because of this one person we will no longer rent anything from U-Haul. We have rented many U-Haul's over the past 10 years and this last one was indeed our last one.STANLEY K.

The uhaul would not start after we got it to our home and took 2 hrs to get a repairman to fix it so it put us very behind schedule on loading while inconveniencing us terribly. Made for a very hectic day and I feel we should be compensated for that.SCOTT B.
I was only required to fill gas tank to a bar below full but I filled up all the way on accident. I wish there was a way to get money back or pay them to fuel up. I filled their gas tank and wasted money I didn't have to and got nothing backHEATHER R.

Clean out the back of the uhaul. It looked and smelt like some one had hauled turkeys in it. There was turkey shit on the floor, the doors, and in the cab. It was very disgusting. If I had know what it looked like in back I would have never took it.. We had to put tarps and cardboard down not to get shit on our furniture. Very dissatisfied in uhaul this time. Sorry but they get a thumbs down, and a sad face. I will rent again. Just not from them.JAMES S.

Twice I've tried to use this location and Twice have had difficulties. They want you to browse their hardware store so they delay and take a lot of time to undo my reservations and try to get me to pay more, then they get mad if you don't.Mark B.

Originally called the Riverside location in Evansville, Indiana. The personnel there seemed like they didn't really care, or have a clear knowledge about their equipment availability. When the auto transporter was finally found and a contract was finalized, we were told to pick up the trailer about 20 minutes away from the Riverside location. Upon arrival at Wadesville, Indiana, I noticed a tire on the trailer had 2 bulges on it, making it unsafe. The Riverside personnel once more didn't really seem motivated to help. We finally found Memmer Hardware in Princeton, Indiana, 40 minutes away, had what we needed. Personnel there at Memmer Hardware were very helpful, a credit to U-Haul. I would NOT recommend the Riverside, or Wadesville locations, but HIGHLY recommend Memmer Hardware in Princeton, Indiana.TYLER G.

Did not have all the blankets I had reserved. Not all lights on the trailer worked. If I needed to drive the trailer at night it could have resulted in being pulled over for running lights on one side not working.mark G.

I rented a 5 x 8 trailer because I needed to haul a mower that is 52â€ wide. I picked up the trailer and got it home to load the mower but the inside of the trailer is only 50â€. It would be super helpful if the sizing on the website showed the actual inside dimensions of the trailer. It would've saved me time and money.Sandra B.

The truck was dirty. And I got charged by the uhaul place in frankfort kentucky for it. When I called the indiana location. The lady talked over top of me. And would not let me speak. She lied that the truck was checked in clean.Annette M.

Make the check-in process quicker. I checked in on-line. And still had to submit the same info I entered on-line. I was not told to check back in when I returned the trailer. I received a text about an hour after I returned the trailer. It told me to check it in and share my location so it could prove where I was. I was already home.J David H.

I placed an order online at Memmers in Princeton, IN. Since, their was no availability in Vincennes ( or so it said ), I went to Princeton to pick up a trailer. Well, the order was put in wrong and he did not have a 5'x8" enclosed trailer available, and had my reservation for an open trailer. I made it work but was told that in fact there was an enclosed trailer in Vincennes, but did not show up in the system and when I tried to call got no answer and no response. Come on, UHAUL! Pay your people and get some decent service carriers. Thanks. Hope I have better luck next time.Angela C.

The problems weren't with either location. The problems were with the original location of Urbana, IL where we lived. We called them to reserve the truck. They did not do that. When they were called to check on the confirmation, they set up our date a month late. We were sent all the way to Terre Haute, IN who didn't have a truck due to the screw up with whomever put in the reservation. So we were sent even further to another location in Indiana. More gas, more time wasted. It was A MESS! I would NOT recommend U-Haul EVER!!melissa W.

Trailer lights malfunctioned, causing me to be pulled over by police. I had to rent an extra day due to the fact that I had to diagnose and fix the problem. Memmer's True Value in Princeton is an excellent place of business and will continue to do business with them. I was not too happy to have to pay for an extra day though.JAMES S.
