Too bad the trailer wasn't available at the site in Evansville. Had to drive an extra 60 miles to pick up the trailer!

I returned the trailer after hours. I did not have any contact with the employees in Indiana so I can not give a review. I will say the location was very clean and organized.

As soon as I opened the door to check truck out I had to go back in side store and BUY air freshener. Spayed the hell out of inside cab. Truck transmission started to slip 100 miles into trip. Would not go into drive and kept shooting up to 4500 to 5000 rpm. Only got 7 miles to the gallon. Oh, the engine oil light kept flickering the last 100 miles. Let me say this, I only had a bedroom set and mattress in the back of the 20 foot truck. I am in the military and move allot. I WILL NEVER rent from Uhaul again nor will anybody I know.

The owner of Memmers' had let us know that he would allow us to turn the item in between 1 or 2 and because we were going so far away and Uhaul couldn't accommodate our needs in Murfreesboro, Tn. We had no option but to rent locally. We had to pull the trailer all the way down (empty) and all the way back (full). What a waste of gas. We were charged for two days, when we were told it would only be for one. Now we have an 80.00 fee and a bunch of wasted gas used by having to do it this way. Terrible experience.

Was supposed to get Uhaul truck the day before but when I showed up it wasn't there so I had to delay my move to the next day. Not happy about that at all.

Uhaul needs to provide more access to 6x12 open utility trailers. I had to drive 30 miles to obtain; very difficult to find.

U-Haul's communication and logistics were not satisfactory during this experience. Specifically regarding the drop-off location, I had been told in another phonecall with customer service that "no U-Haul places were allowed to be closed" when I voiced my concern over it being Easter Sunday for my due date/time. Luckily, I went to return the truck on Saturday and, sure enough, a sign was on the door saying "CLOSED EASTER SUNDAY". Once again, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Also that my reservation originally stated 24 hours for the truck, but my receipt stated 2 days, so I had to jump through hoops just to get that clarified and the excuse I got was about errors in your computer system. It seems U-Haul has quite a bit of fixing to do, in your computer system and in both internal and external communications. I've usually had good experiences with U-Haul over the years, but this time was probably the worst.
