I have only used Uhaul for decades. With all my family we rent at least once a year. The past two years it has been 3 times/year. The last time I rented the uhaul battery died. The guy came to jump it/ was unable and had to tow. it. I found I was charged for gas that I could not fill up because truck had to be towed. I felt the location possibly knew this could happen as it was stressed and repeated who to call if something should happen while I had the truck. This time I needed a truck I decided to try this location again assuming last time was a fluke. I requested 2 wheeled hand carts and 12 furniture blankets. I got to my location to load the truck and found none of the supplies were in the truck. I sent a live chat and the customer service lady apologized and took the charges off the bill. I asked for a confirmation number/email/something to verify that occured (due to the gas charge from prior rental). She said there was no way to give such. I let her know how disappoiinted I was the supplies were not in the truck as I was moving antique furniture and it would be very bad if it was mishandled or scratched due to not having the supplies I ordered and asked what she could do about that and she said nothing. When I asked if she could discount or something she said I would need to call management or she could try and find what I needed at another location and I could go pick it up. Going out of my way would increase my cost via mileage - for your mistake. Nor was there time to go do that. Had I been called to say you didn't have what I requested I would have made other arrangements. Or if you knew you did not have the items, you as a company could have got them from another location and had them in the truck as ordered. This is twice I have had problems at this location. I will not recommend it, I will not use it again, and I am seriously considering no longer using Uhaul after the live chat and inability to correct the mistakes made. I preplanned and your mistakes or lack of ordered equipment made the move very challenging with the items I needed to address.

I just got charged $200- extra today because I dropped off at the wrong location. The app would not work so I checked in with the screen and the online assistant did not mention a single thing about returning to a different location. I rented a few times from here and this is the first problem but I am so upset about the $200 charge. It has now put me and my family in a bad spot. Very upset I was not told about this when I the reservation was made..
ADAM STerrible. Just terrible. No humans on site the virtual asst was very nice and tried to help but could not make the online reservation come up nor get texts through for the code number. I was on with her and had to spend 45 min with her and to U-Haul truck div to get the truck. When I returned it it was the same thing. The virtual asst could not get me signed out and told me there was nothing she could do. The key safes are mounted 5’ off the ground making it very difficult to get the combination done

Scott WThe facility was very clean. This was my first encounter with a virtual rep, and they were extremely helpful. As soon as the door opens, it triggers the virtual assistant. We were directed to download the app, take a few pictures, and drop the key in the box. Very easy process.

To improve the next customer make sure they know there is no human person is on this site.it is completely virtual, The lock on the truck was extremely hard to get off.Not only that, the truck was part.Inside the gate and I had to call back several times to get them to open the gate.Don't forget there's no one there. I did try to call but the person hung up on me when I returned it and I wanted to make some comments. Their representative hung up on me. This is not a good location for people who loke interacting with people.

Chris CNo one was present during business hours @230 pm on 1/23/23 There was a number to call as a sign indicated the manager might be in the back. No one answered the call. There was no internet service for me to use the online check in service. I got a call 1/25 from another Uhaul location asking about my having turned it it. I told that person I'd turned it in on Monday and they said it had not been checked in on the computer. i have photos dated 1/23/23 showing it parked at the assigned return location. I havef been improperly charged for an extra day.

Amanda CImprove customer service when calling in to change reservations or drop off. I was on hold for over 15 minutes to speak to an agent to change drop off location. I was connected then told would be transferred to the appropriate agent, but was put back on hold to the same customer service “hold” line. I finally did speak to a very professional agent who did resolve my issue. However, when in the moving process, waiting 40 minutes total, is not acceptable and highly stressful. This is something that needs complete improvement with U-haul.

Steve JI have moved over 100 times in my life. I have used U-Haul for all of those moves ...except once. I made the mistake once of using" the other company "with the yellow trucks. Just because it happened to be closer. They let me down and had no truck for me on moving day never has that happened with you all and never would I use any other company again. U-Haul trucks are always modern clean and extremely well priced.
