We left phone in locked truck. Owner went out of his way to accommodate the recovery. He was also very helpful in general. I would highly recommend this Uhaul location.
Dawn NThe vehicle was in very poor condition. Michael did everything he could to get me down the road. It is UHaul that failed!! This vehicle was the only one available and 30 miles away from where I rented it. There was No Oil in the engine!! Michael put 3.5 qts in and it was still low. The gage read 0% oil life remaining. I was on a very tight schedule and had to leave that day with that equipment. I already delayed from Friday as I was told they needed time to find equipment. UHaul did very very poorly for this experience!! I am glad I made it without the engine failing! Not satisfied at all!!!!
Jonathan CTrailer latch was damaged or broken to where when we hit a speed bump trailer came off the ball with a vehicle on it damaging the trailer to where we could not jack up and had to lift by hand. Owner of shop hooked up trailer completely and when we arrived in reno after rigging trailer to make it the rest of the 6 hour drive over donner pass In snow with no trailer lights due to them sheer g wires off when came disconnected. Uhaul said they would contact us on a conclusion with all the vehicle damages and we have not heard anything and it's been a week

Debra HDrop off was a bit frustrating. The location we were told to drop off doesn’t have a parking lot and was closed Saturday at 2pm. We called the number and left a voicemail, but never heard back. There were U-Haul vans parked in an adjoining parking lot so we left the trailer there. Instructions were not clear and no hours of operations were ever told to us.
Dominic JHave rented from Michael many times. He is always available for service and ready when you want to pick up or return vehicles.
Frank NAnswer calls during working hours so that people know how to drop off the vehicle. We just took our best guess as where to park because it was closed. WE and the uhaul representative that helped us on our pick up end tried to get a hold of the drop off spot in advance so we would feel comfortable dropping it off. When we arrived we just chose the place that looked the best and hoped we were doing the right thing. Drop box and instructions were clear and helpful so that made us feel more confident.

ethan pGreat to have close access to Uhaul. Paperwork was easy. I extended for an additional day that was handled quickly on line. I have rented from Michael before and is great to work with. I would use again and refer friends as well.
sharron lU haul was dirty inside and out. However, the Uhaul ran great and the inside where I put my furniture was clean. The keys were in the lock box for remote pick up. Thank you for that!!!!

Frank NIf I’m going to be charged for an appliance dolly, it should be in the truck. I should have no charges for an unused, unloaded appliance dolly. In addition, the extra mileage charge seems high since I get 50 free. My bill is too much for $39.95 daily. Lastly, a rental should be 24 hours unless specified. I wouldn’t have a greed to nor would bother with a five hour rental. My professional movers were five hours late, then said I had too much stuff, and will come back the next day. Very unprofessional. I’m very dissatisfied with my movers. My UHaul rep was extremely professional, and worked out the needs of both of his clients. I offered to exchange the truck and he said he’d handle it, I guess he did. He was very respectful. .
Danelle LI searched Uhaul for a motor cycle trailer between San Jose and Santa Barbara. I was shocked to find one only 10 miles from my house at Michael's Upolstry in Atascadero. I have been a customer of his for years. He is great man to work with. He even allowed me to pick up the trailer after hours so I could start my trip to Oregon at 5 am the next day rather than waiting till he opened at 8 am. Great service.

carloc aMichael made it super easy and simple over the phone. He even went above and beyond and assisted us with a little extra gas for the long trip we took. I had to move my Mom and Youngest sister from my childhood home of 20 years leaving behind many memories. It was bittersweet and Michael helped make it a seamless transition for me and my family.
Clarice WTruck had some parts that were not maintained and the truck was not cleaned, it was quite filthy. Mirrors on the truck swiveled/moved with every bump in the road making it very unsafe for towing long distances. Michael who assisted us was very helpful and answered all of my questions I had but would not answer the phone otherwise. Location was labeled closed at the location and on Google and no one would answer the phone, this caused quite a bit of stress driving from Paso. Thankfully the U-Haul automated texts worked and Michael answered the phone at my reservation time and no time after that when I had a concern about the tow dolly.

Daniel DUnless I missed it, parking for my drop-off was scarce. I had to park the truck in the parking lot of the business next door but because it was early Saturday morning, it wasn't an issue. Otherwise, another seamless transaction.

jock mThere was no issue from the pick up location. The problem was all with U-Haul and there on line service and scheduling, absolutely 💯 will never rent from them again. It was almost $500 for a 5×9 trailer one way for less then a day and a half. I was in a bind and had no choice!!!! 0 stars
