The time it takes to log on to verify who you are before taking the vehicle and then when returning the vehicle takes away from the time you request to use the vehicle. For example, I request the use a truck for four hours. The process to pick it up took about 25 minutes via cellphone. If I return it back four hours from that point and then went through the process of doing the return on my cellphone, which took about 20 minutes, my return would have been late. Which I assume would cost me extra fees.Terrence W.

The facility was locked at the time of my pick-up. My and several other customers were forced to wait for several hours while they unlocked the building. It was extremely costly and inconvenient. Additionally, when I finally received the keys the gas was near empty. However, the gentleman that I spoke with was very kind.Joshua O.

I was completely blindsided by my charges. All my charger came out to 56 dollars which is what I was charged for my rental including fees. Then I get a bill with an added $40 in my email and my account is just charged. I have never experienced this surge in cost at any other uhaul location I've ever used. I would have never chosen this location if I knew that. My vehicle was returned. Full, clean, and on time. I'm just overall dissapointed, I've made longer trips and been charged less. Not happy with the lack of communication, how do you tell me 56 dollars then charge me almost 100.Stanley T.

The no-contact process, while not this location's fault, is a huge burden on the customer. Had I realized that the entire process would take me 30 minutes due to my cell phone not having signal, locking up the truck before I knew I had to take photos, and other technical hiccups, I would have opted for something else. Even though I opted for no contact check in, I also had to enter the building to get the key from an employee. It was also disappointing to read, during the check out process, that another guest could potentially be in the truck before an employee checked the vehicle. This leads me to believe the vehicles aren't checked and cleaned, for COVID precautionary reasons, between uses. The truck itself was okay, but it had an alignment issue, loud brake squeaking, and the check engine light was on.Cody T.

Mr Thompson, The gentleman that assisted me when checking out my 17' truck was extremely professional. Moving is a stressful task and in my stressful state Mr Thompson kept a calming and respectful tone witch was deeply appreciated. The only down side to my check out experience was that this location is very limited in truck inventory.Sharon D.

Took over half an hour after I arrived on location to be approved to get the keys. It was a remote service location, so it wasn't an employee's fault necessarily. Awful system though, truly. Moving is a hassle and this kind of makes the process worse. I literally went a picture of my drivers license and my face and they still asked for more identity verification (passport or a lease agreement or a secondary contact) which is insanity. They need to improve their remote system immensely. Cannot stress enough how awful this was.Mark S.

Excellent service. I am glad that you are in the area. The 26 ft truck is awesome. Made my moving a lot easier. Just one note, the appliance dolly I rented was in a bad shape and the stair climber on it was broken. I rented it mainly for the stair climber so I could not use it. I did not notice it was broken when I picked it up. This was ignorance on my sideMena B.
I was told Saturday once I drop off the u-haul truck for Sunday by 12noon . And there would be an employee on site and my refund would be processed. I returned truck at 12noon Sunday, no employee on site to process my refund. Not until Monday.janette D.

They can advise renters when trucks dont come with a ramp totally dissatisfied the point of a rental when moving is to have a ramp on the truck I was not notified of this by the time I realized was to late so I was highly upset and felt I should receive a credit which I didn't get so will never rent from U haul again it should be illegal to rent a truck with no ramp it was obviously removed needless to say my move did not go smoothly without a ramp!!Kelly G.

What started out as a $19.95 truck rental quickly mushroomed to an over $45.00 truck rental. The rental truck itself was rough riding/handling. The guages on the truck indicated that the rights rear tire needed air,. The bottom LEFT MIRROR on the driver,s door was broken. And,"Oh by the way," The truck only had Less than a quarter of a tank of gas when I got it. Finally the check engine light was on the entire time I used the truck.robert R.

The person who helped us gave very brief drop off instructions â€œgo to ____ location and put keys in drop boxâ€. This caused us to lock U-Haul and rid of keys prior to completing all the necessary steps for checking the vehicle in with the cell phone. Be sure to advise customers to complete steps on cell phone BEFORE getting rid of keys.Dustin V.
