The drop off location is manned by a virtual attendant, easy check-in, just drop the keys in the box, someone checks the vehicle later. Now the "Gotcha", U-haul needs to update it's vehicle fuel level policy to match rental car companies. You pick up the vehicle FULLY fueled, gauge reads "F" and return it the same or choose to bring it back unfueled and pay the company to fill it up per gallon. Trying to figure out if the fuel gauge reads 9/16ths of a tank is a pain. I got Nickle and dimed for 2 gallons of fuel because the check -in person read the fuel gauge differently than I did, I thought it read just over 1/2 of a tank. The digital fuel gauge reads E, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and F. I think the tank had a 30 gallon capacity based on the amount of fuel I put. Also U-hual should upgrade the equipment to use Diesel engines on the larger trucks, 15, 20, 26 foot versions. The gasoline powered vehicle is EXTREMELY inefficient and GUZZLES fuel. I'm guessing 5-6 mpg.
DAVID COverall the experience was excellent. However we were not able to get access to the facility or the keys to the truck with the app. But would definitely use U-Haul again.
Kyle JI selected this location to return the truck. When i got there the Uhual app said i needed to return it to a different location miles away. There was no one on site to talk to. I had to call Uhaul and they said to leave it there. Not sure why the drop off location was changed, bc i never changed it. This was extremely frustrating.

CHRISTOPHER OThe virtual attendant thing is ridiculous (not inviting at all). Pay a person to stand behind a counter and help people, the same way it has been done for the last 50 years. My drop-off location mysteriously got switched from what was stated on my contract and there was nobody there to assist me. I sat in the truck in 95 degree heat with the AC running trying to sort out the drop off location issue with people on the phone, to the point where I ended up 5 miles under where the gas level was when I picked up and got charged for that extra gas, despite the fact that I explained all of this to the person on the phone and she said I would not be charged. Poorest experience I have had with Haul in the last 30 years!
NEIL SWait time for someone virtual was lengthy. Twenty five minutes to be exact. But overall! Excellent service.
rodney TThis location was nice and clean but the drop-off was completely online through the U-Haul App (which we had to download in that location with spotty cell phone reception). And this was a Friday about lunch time (so not after hours). The App itself for check in was challenging, in that MULTIPLE pictures had to be uploaded (mileage, gas, inside and outside the vehicle, etc......more than 10-12 photos) and again the App was not easy to navigate. I think it would be helpful to advertise if the check-in and/or check-out process would be mobile OR if you are dealing with a live person.

Steven MDealing with the virtual assistant really threw me off and I didn't like reading my credit card number out loud- maybe upload a picture like with the drivers license. So checking out was irritating dealing with the no human. Checking back in was easy as I knew what to expect. However- I left a personal item (garage remote) locked in the truck- so it was really helpless not having a human on site- but through some phone calls and dealing back with the virtual assistant- the appropriate human was notified and keys were recovered next morning with little inconvenience.
Michael SThe Uhaul app states that the Midgard Seneca site had no hours and that returns could be performed at any time. I arrived at 8:30 am on a Saturday. Gate was locked and no one available to help. No instructions on how to return the truck. The app was not useful. I returned at 9 am and the gate was open and able to return the truck using the app. The site should accurately state the hours that the gate is open and one is able to process returns using the app. Note that there is no live person on site; only a "virtual manager".
Al SLet folks know that it closes at 5 pm. I barely made it.

James BThis location that I was given to return the trailer, told me “you can’t leave it here.” The two young men were telling me that there wasn’t any room to leave it there. No room. Ha! They said I wasn’t on their EPS. I told them that I was leaving it there, so figure it out. (What was I supposed to do with it?!) They figured it out and I left it there. I believe I’ll go with Penske from now on.

Shaun GI can't say enough good about renting this truck. Everything went smoothly from the truck being ready when I got there to the phone call about the box I forgot in the truck. Exceptional experience.
Angela SThe manager of this store is great. She checked my 15 ft truck return in promptly and rented me a 4x8 trailer to continue my move all in under 10 minutes.
Greg DDon't charge me for 2 gallons of gas ($11.50 - really $5.75 a gallon, please!) when I put 4-1/2 gallons in the truck and drove less than 30 miles. This is a complete rip-off you can say the truck had a little over half a tank from the computer but when the customer gets in and it dead on half a tank and nobody checks that shouldn't be the customer's fault.
John SI had the truck about 15 minutes the first time it wouldn't start. I had to just keep trying until it did. It did this several times. Brakes were all the way to the floor. Truck motor sounded like it was going to blow any minute. When I called trying to get a different truck the woman said there was nothing she could do for me. I had to call customer service and they sent a mechanic but it took up half of my day waiting for him to look at it. He said nothing was wrong but it left me stranded twice after he left. I won't be going back.

THOMAS RI did not friendly service or he was not patient. When I went to the haul place that they was not assigned to me. I had to make a new account, had to get a small truck and had no dolly for me. He only get us a copy of the insurance. He give us the keys and left.

Erin MHad issue with code getting in after hours. Waited over an hour in the rain trying to get in until another person was able to get in so followed behind him. Only problem I couldn't get out as the gate wouldn't open because I was on foot. Had to get the same person to come back in so he could get me out Plus it was later in the evening and we had to drive 2 and half hours home. Not too thrilled.

tom sWhen we arrived, we pulled into the storage facility and couldn't find anyone at first in the front office. When the customer associate arrived, she did not really explain anything about the return process or receipt. She also then had us drive the U-Haul truck to a secondary location down the street and back it into their storage area, which was tricky and felt it should be their responsibility (or the dropoff location should just list this secondary location in the first place).

mark HOffice was not open when arrived even though it was during posted hours of operation. Location is an Incredibly tight space to maneuver a truck and trailer around. I received my final bill after I left by email and was over charged an extra day rental. I have called and left messages to question the over charge and get no response. I would not recommend this drop off location.
