I reserved my truck at the millard location. A representative called me and said that it may be at a different omaha location than the one I reserved at, but it would be in omaha at least for me to pick up. Two weeks later, and three days before my out of city move I get a call telling me there are no trucks in the size I reserved and the closest one is in seward and that I can go get it myself. Astonished that this is how your company treats their customers, I asked what can they do, since this isn't a problem that was caused by me. He said I could have a free extra day. I then stated I will be paying for the extra mileage also, since I am taking time out of my schedule and more money to pay for gas to get YOUR equipment that was promised to me in omaha. This has been a literal nightmare. Moving is already stressful, with packing, setting up your life in a different city and making sure everything falls into place, and then the company that is supposedly the most reliable company in moving trucks calls and basically bomb drops this info THREE DAYS before I'm suppose to move across the state. So it's to late for me go with a different company, so the only thing I can do is again, take 2 and a half hours that I had planned packing and getting ready for the move, and go pick up the truck from a site that was an hour away. Hopefully, uhaul is true to their word and actually ensures I don't pay extra, but after this, uhaul will never be the service I go to, or recommend. Regards, Janet

Gave me the wrong size truck. Charged me again for the trailer and did not take off the tow bar from the total because the CALL CENTER did not put in the reservation correctly. I should have had a 15' truck, was given a 10' truck. Had to throw away furniture because all of it would not fit in the truck. And the car was packed too. Waited from 8 am to 11:30 for the keys to the truck because the guy who rented before did not turn in the keys. Drive 75 miles in the wrong direction to get the truck instead of the original reservation For the L street Uhaul in Omaha. That meant driving back 75 miles to load the truck. Did not get out of Omaha until 5 pm on Saturday. Total disaster because the call center OVERBOOKED on the equipment. How does a business run like this.

When I initially called, the U-haul representative told me there were no trucks available in the size I preferred. I was offered a larger size at the same price - that was fine. But on arriving at the location they had a truck in the preferred size. The manager indicated that a quick phone call would have provided accurate information rather than what the rep. indicated.

No one showed up at opening hrs.. we waited for an hr.... we had were helped by the lady over the phone who was very helpful which we very much appreciated.... the main thing is I called 3 times and was quoted a different price... first was 24.99 and we ended up pay $70 something for less then 4 hrs...

Location was great. It was frustrating that we made a reservation in Lincoln two months ago, only to be called the day before and told there wasn't any equipment for us. Would probably not use Uhaul again because of this. If I knew a truck wouldn't be ready for me I would have cancelled the reservation two months ago. The location we had to pick up at was a 40 minute drive away.

I was supposed to get a truck at Grand Island Nebraska, very inconvenient to have to drive from Grand Island to Seward to get the truck because they didn't have one where I had contracted to have one there.

There was only one girl that had to wait on the store customers, answer the phone and check in U-Haul equipment. That seems too much for one person, as there quite a bit of waiting for your turn.

Over all scheduling with grand island Nebraska location was. a night mare. Told we could rent a trailer, then no, so we got the truck and thought it was all set and less than 30 mins there is no truck locally. Then had to drive over 80 miles one way to get. We had to hire a guy to go with my husband to drive his personal vehicle back. Then told could get insurance as long it was with in 24hrs. the next am called and that was Not the case. the whole pick up and scheduling was a MESS. Never again UHaul!
