The man who I interacted with was extremely helpful and patient. And upon returning the truck he was also very quick, and efficient. I will most definitely use this location again in the future.

There was no one at the location when we arrived. It seemed to be an open lot behind a locked fence. We had to pick up the Uhaul on the street and do the documentation on the mans broken cell phone with no wifi on one side of the street - so had to cross the street. The neighborhood was very unsafe. Once the man arrived he was very helpful and ensured we got a newer truck for our cross country trip. He was helpful and pleasant. He was not the problem the location was. Uhaul dropped the ball on this pick up. This was not our original pick up location. Two days before our pick up the location I selected was changed to Ebenezer Auto repair. When we arrived the location was closed for vacation and there was no way to pick up the truck. No one answered the phone. Uhaul was not responsive to the issue and we were stuck at that location which was mot safe for an extended time. Uhaul then transferred the pickup to Miguels auto which we had to take an Uber to. This was all incredibly stressful. We also got charged $1000 more than was originally quoted. Very bad business.

Lee DI had no idea this was not a physical U-Haul location when I reserved my vehicle. It all seemed very unprofessional, there was just a man standing alongside all of the moving trucks parked on the side of a street. The manager had awful customer service and was rushing me. I was uncomfortable the entire time, from the condition and manner of the location to the brash interactions with the U-Haul representative. I felt relieved when I had returned my vehicle and could leave that behind.
Joseph LGas tank was half a tank when I picked up and original vehicle rented was not ready. So they swapped vehicle with uhaul trucked with half a tank.Mileage used was less than 10 miles. I filled up tank for a total of $45.00. Just as a courtesy and per contract as well as a contract courtesy since it reflected full tank. We trusted the process since we were in under a stressful time moving. Thank you,
ISIDRO BNo equipment to rent, no storefront, just a man renting trucks on the street. Only drove 8 miles total. Charged for unused mileage and 3 gallons of gas.

Matthew HThis was the worst experience!! There wasn’t even a store front to go into. It was just a guy standing in the street renting the U-Hauls. He had me do the digital paperwork on the back of a truck on his cracked iPhone. He was extremely rude, impatient and could barely speak English and didn’t know how to work the U-Haul computer system. Plus we got half way to our destination and he called the alternative contact not me the main contact and says we have to turn around and come back because he gave us the wrong truck! U-Haul needs to shut this location down.

Jeffrey HMy reservation was canceled when I was told to show up at 2 to pick up. No one told me I had to grab the truck from a random side street or download the app in order to pick up at this location. Had to jump through hoops on the app due to them needing to verify I wanted to rent again and rushed by the agent helping me rent when he asked me to come at 2. On top of it the rental floor was sticky, left on empty fuel (below the last quarter tank) , and had the engine light on. Took an hour to have to book it again. I was on a time crunch due to having movers show up at a specific time frame so this delayed the entire move & I lost help throughout the day. This was my first time renting through U-Haul directly and I feel it was probably a mistake.

MARK WArea Manager Rico Hernandez had the site owner leave to pick up a truck even though they knew I was coming for a 3pm pickup. I contacted service by phone to help since no one was there. They told me to use the app, when then wanted to contact my work or have me upload a picture of my lease or passport, none of which was ever said to me. Then Rico and Miguel showed up at 3:45 and had me give my drivers license (which I had already uploaded 3 times) before telling me which truck was mine. Then I asked to but a lock, as was offered on the app, and was told they didn’t have any. Horrible customer service all around.
David CMiguel was great, but for some reason I got charged an extra $36. I called Miguel, but he said he doesn’t know what that’s for. Is there anyone that can help me figure this out?
Grace EDid not allow self check in once I arrived, total came out higher than the online quote and would not honor the original, gas tank light was on and had to fill up before moving.
CASSANDRA BService was good, I used the App to pick up the truck but owner was around and made sure I didn't have any issues. I rated Average instead of Above Average because the AC in van didn't work and windshield wiper fluid was empty. The App is definitely the worst part so if you can get through the App steps, pick up is very clear.

Adam CFix the app so that they can actually log in. Force someone to make an account when they book a car so that they can always log in later. Otherwise there is no instructions for how to check it out and return it.

Adam GThe location didn’t have a store front. It was a guy sitting in his trunk. He was abrupt and kinda of rude. I got there 15 minutes early just to be safe and he reprimanded me for not waiting until 2 to get there. The wheels of the dolly he provided were caked with mud. You couldn’t reach him after picking up the truck. Plus the surrounding area appeared unsafe. He may be living in a camper on the property where his supposed “business” is. It all felt very uncomfortable
Preston WWe had an appointment to pick up the truck at 7:30am on 3/16/24. We arrived about 10 minutes early and called the number provided for the location with no response. Then Miguel calls back about 5 minutes later asking if we had an appointment to which the answer was “yes.” Miguel acknowledged he saw our appointment on his end and said he would head over to the location to meet us which according to him would take about 5 minutes which would have him arriving to the location just after 7:30am. After 20 minutes had passed, we called him back inquiring on when he would be at the location to which he stated he would be there in about 5 minutes again. Miguel finally arrived around 7:50am and proceed to say his location does not open until 9am even though the website stated we could pick up the truck at 7:30am. He was not apologetic nor helpful as he stated we needed a “truck number.” We have used uHauls many times in the past and have never been asked to provide a truck number. I then proceeded to give him our appointment number to which he said it was not the right information. He finally pulled up his reservations and saw our appointment. There was another gentleman who was there to pick up a truck at 8am to which Miguel was not helpful in the slightest and we helped him out as we were a bit more familiar with the process. Miguel also told him his location does not open until 9am. Overall, Miguel was rude, unapologetic, and the language barrier only complicated the matter more. We would have rather walked our stuff over to our new place than work with Miguel again.

Richard AMiguel was amazing. He is kind and genuine. I have read other reviews and I don’t find them to be very fair. This is a sincere, humble man who does a great job. Yes he will meet you in his truck, but that’s ok. He is thorough and does great work. After less than ten minutes I was finished with insurance, keys and even learned a bit about Miguel’s family. He works hard for what he does and to me it showed. This location is not a very large space, but it’s organized and easily accessible. The neighborhood is not that bad at all either (I know, I lived right next to it for three years - on 3rd and Galapago) it’s an old residential neighborhood close to some industrial, working class spaces. Don’t be hesitant to book your next U-Haul equipment from this location. It’s great!

Chavez TWhen I reserved a truck. I was emailed to download the U-haul app, I was supposed to retrieve the truck via the app. Instead, we were met by an customer rep on the street. We were told he waited for us for hours. We were unable to complete the transaction via the u-haul app on his phone, ultimately instead of getting the truck in the expected 5 minutes it took probably 45 or more.
Edward MI signed up for a 24/7 truck share U-Haul- which I assumed would be a quick and seamless experience after an already stressful moving process. Prior to arrival I had completed the necessary check in steps including uploading my license and photo as well as paying for the truck. When I arrived to Miguels Auto after business hours, a worker was waiting for me and refused to allow me to take the truck until I showed him the truck and lock number. I showed him my confirmation number from the U-Haul app and payment confirmation. He still would not allow me to proceed with the truck. I tried calling U-Haul (no answer) and using the live chat (not helpful) and the man and I sat arguing about it for 45 minutes with no solution. I became very impatient and frustrated as I had people waiting on me to arrive with the U-Haul. He then called his manager and finally confirmed my payment and handed over the keys. This process was way more stressful than I anticipated it to be and I will NOT be returning to this U-Haul location next time.

He was waiting behind the UHaul truck when I arrived to pickup my rental and was still there when I returned, 2 hrs early, to return the truck.
Clarissa SThis location was really a cluster… it’s hard to even tell where the location is? When we arrived, I called and was told they didn’t take trailers. FORTUNATELY, a man (Dave, I think) was driving by (he works for Uhaul) and was able to clear that up and take the trailer for return. But all in all, I would not recommend this location.
Meeri KIt was a sketchy neighborhood and I was approached by a random guy who claimed to be with Uhaul but didn't seem to know anything about the check-in process. He also decided he should tell me that moving to Denver was not a good idea right now for a number of reasons. He was also offended that I put the keys in the drop box instead of handing them to him directly.
