Lana G.Since this review doesn't have a section about the vehicle I'll add it here. The truck would strongly wobble when braking at high speeds. Like painful to hold the wheel and feels like something is going to snap, wobble. The passenger windshield wiper is trash as well. I don't know if this is a UHaul problem in general but that truck could get stuck in winter road conditions so easily (got stuck in minor slush twice)

I have recently submitted a “review†through a separate email to your company detailing our experience from the minute I booked the truck until the time I dropped the truck off . Would I recommend uhaul ? Definitely not!!!! Will I EVER use your services again? Definitely not! I asked for a call back from you so I can explain our experience and can't even get that! James D.I was charged for cleaning services meamwhile i had to drive a truck the previous customer chain smoked in and butts were left in the asktray to confirm. The windshield i had to clean and fuel was under half. The wondshielf has a spidering crack that goes straight across the entire width. I was told to park my truck in the spot the uhaul was in. Then was blamed for parking in the wrong spot and requested to return an hour later to correct...to which i could not do. Upon returning the truck i was again reminded of where i parked and i argued it was parked exactly where the uhaul had been. They tried telling me the truck was over more...meanwhile its twice the size of my truck...so no it didnt take up any more space. They blamed lost business on that occurance. I felt they lacked customer service. I was never told my visa debt would not be accepted at the location..meanwhile i reserved with my visa debt. I luckily had cash to cover the amount but the guy almost didnt want to take my money even. I dont have a credit card. If money is not accepted or debt cards at locations this needs to be posted or communicated. I was having issues with the truck qnd tried telling the uhaul rep and they laughed an said its almost on its way out. After a 7 hour trip one way this made me feel like they never maintaine the vehicles. Overall the owners need to actually clean the vehicles if they plan on charging people for it. Not impressed at all.

Equipment in poor condition... wiring broken/shorted, straps in multiple knots... tensioners (ratchets) mutilated and barely able to get one tensioned (even worse trying to get it to loosen once at destination). I would suggest training on what a responsible customer expects as the minimal equipment standards...

I should be discounted because I was paying for 2 movers at 25 bucks and hour b4 we even got the truck let alone started the move. Never again and will never recommend and or have anything good ti say for that service and plus I asked fir a dolly that I was charged for on the credit card and was not equipped with one . NEVER AGAIN UHAUL!!!

Ken A.The vehicle was in poor working condition. The items we rented were not with the vehicle. There was no one available at the pick up location to get the items from. Customer service was no help either. We were essentially told "sorry, there is nothing we can do. Buy, a manager from the area will call you soon to help." We never heard from the manager. When we returned the vehicle I disputed the charges because the items were still on the bill. The website said we would be contacted within 48 hours. We still have not heard from anyone. It has been over 48 hours now.

Kevin R.Stop sending a link to customers to do online check in to retrieve your truck. The link doesn't work and I had to call the main number and wait 20 minutes to get through for assistance. How about you tell us to go to the browser instead. Saving me a lot of time and anxiety and upset. Waisted almost an hour because of this technicality.
Denis T.Mobile options are terrible for Canadians. Cant use the app. Unable to get website to work with chrom, forefox on android phone, and chrome and safari on an iPhone. Tried a third phone an android and it worked there. We all had 4 bars of service.

Martin P.First of all I got charged 89 cents km. I was told it should be 69 cents km. They did not ask me about insurance, they told me, with out my permission. I would have put insurance but I should have been asked first. The truck was dirty and dusty. I have allergies and I got sick from the dust. There was a strong solvent smell in their off and that also made me sick. Not a Happy Customer. Will not recommend this location again. It was Mikes Auto Body & Sales. Very unhappy. Ida Kraft

Travelled 6 hours to get to Thunder Bay and spent 1.5 hours trying to get through on the app and while speaking with a representative a Uhaul, I was disconnected three times. Finally someone walked us through the process and we had success. A stressful time as we had a deadline to pickup furniture and our time was limited as it was. Would not rent another Uhaul unless the business was open to provide customer service. Would not recommend using the app to anyone.

Jack H.I had requested a 4' x 8' covered trailer. The 4' x 8' trailer wheel bearings were burned out, resulting me to use a 5' x 8' trailer instead. I am happy that I was not charged additional expenses for the larger trailer. The added weight and size of the trailer resulted in more wind resistance and drag adding to the fuel costs. I was surprised there was only one 4' x 8' trailer but there was a selection of 5' x 8' trailers. Mike was professional offering wonderful customer service despite the headache of no 4' x 8' trailer.
Robert H.We dropped the trailer off after hours. There was no area to drop the trailer. The instructions say no to block doors or gates. That eliminated a lot of spots to drop the trailer. Maybe if we dropped the trailer off during work hours it would have been easier. But this location is 24 hour drop off.
