Hidden charges! My 20 dollar van rental ended up costing almost 50 dollars to go a total of five miles. I'll NEVER use uhaul again. And I'll be sure to tell everyone i know about my experience.

associate was nice and equipment was brand new but he didn't know about employee discount and didn't apply for me so i had to call customer service to get it fixed
BRIANA GPlace was closed I was dropping off a 26’ truck
PAUL NI was charged the $15 dollars for insurance when I didn’t want that coverage. I will call for refund
JODY BI was charged $12.35 for 3 gallons of gas, when I already put that amount of gas in myself to bring it to the same mark on the gauge. I even took a picture as proof. Please refund me the amount of $12.35.
BRIAN VThe truck had a lot of broken glass in the locked cargo compartment so evidently it was not properly checked in after the last use. The gas cap came apart into 3 pieces in my hand when refueling. My wife cut herself on the broken glass.
JEFFERY HI payed $25.00 for gas in a vehicle I drove less than 25 miles. It had more gas in it when I returned it than it did when I picked it up. It's unfair to make me pay for someone else that didn't fill it up. I will use uhaul again but definitely will not from this location. The man working told me he would make this right but of course that never happened.

CRISTOPHER AThe truck was clean but it had a ugly smell of urine, when I pick up the truck I was supposed to receive a phone call that day before 11 nine before five pm no one Contac me, then no one text me to let me know that I need to get into the website to be able to get the keys and follow instruction, at the time I thought that I had lost the rental because it was close . Back communication with the Customer, the truck needs to be checked of transmission it was a horrible drive I have rented before and never had a problem

MARY TThere is something wrong with the steering in this truck. It drifted from side to side as I drove it. It is dangerous. It also leaked through the side of the cabin when it rained. Water drip down the seatbelt and my shirt got soaked.

RICHARD MI feel I was over charged for mattress bags. I was charged $40.00 plus tax for 2 king bags and 2 queen bags. I saw the same items at a different u-haul location for 6.99 and 5.99 respectively. Also, mile stretch did not go over the truck in any way prior to my leaving. It seems they would want to educate the renter on various controls and safety features. Just a thought for safer operation.

donald wThe warning Light for Tire service constantly kept coming on. It Made the long driver very nervous. 12 hours. I will not use Uhaul again bc of this.
Mark FMy only issue is being charged for 2 gallons of gas when I only drove the truck 4 miles. That means the truck got 2 miles to the gallon. Not logical.

Michael LWhen i arrived to pickup the keys in the office. The gentleman at the counter sighed and asked me why i wasnt bringing the truck back to him because he had a "regular customer" coming in to rent two of the trucks, one of which i was renting. I said sorry sir. I'm moving to spring hill I'm not bringing it back this way, can you give me the keys, he hesitated and refreshed his screen snd had a very bad attitude about it.

Zulneb MSo, I went in to rent a 15 foot U-Haul at 10:07, I asked the man attending the counter how long I could have the truck, to which he replied “It’d be for 24hrs, as long as the truck in the lot in the morning you won’t be charged.” “It needs to be cleaned, and the tank is a at a quarter, it needs to come back will a quarter tank.” I did all of that. He didn’t end up getting his system to work until 10:39am, I got in the truck and pulled out at 10:47am, and returned the truck the next day at 10:32am that’s 24hrs before I both paid for the truck, and when I left the lot. Yet I was $67, and an additional $99. Even though my receipt I received after the I dropped it off says my total rental charges were $97.
Thomas SWouldn't review vehicle with me, listed gas as over what was in the van, changed terms after online reservation, werent in office during business hours....i contacted them and showed time stamped photos of the fuel in relation to what they listed and they still charged me a surcharge for the missing fuel that was proven wasn't there upon receipt.
