JAMES CLower the cost per mile, make sure the radio works in the vehicle being rented, and make sure straps on auto trailers don't constantly get stuck. This isn't gripes on the place I picked it up from, this is on uhaul in general. Should've been so much cheaper for a 1 day rental

Avis BFirst the automated system that allowed for pickup prior to the location opening didn’t work. The link for the pickup disappeared while I was using it in the parking lot and I no longer had access. I had to return later in the morning once the location opened. Then the unit I picked up had a dead battery. I was told this one may have been dead earlier in the week as well but it had been sitting for a while. When I commented that I hoped the battery did not fail during my 16 hr trip the comment was “U-Haul has a good road side assistance.” I charged the battery myself before I left (hauling my now deceased fathers personal belongings from his home in SC to mine in ME) and it still did not show a full charge so I purchased a $140 battery jump pack that could be used if needed in my trip. Upon leaving we discovered that the radio did not work at all!!! It would not operate in any way. We drove home 16+ hours with no radio. Needless to say it was a long trip and now I have a charger that I didn’t want or need as I have several already at my home.

DONALD FUpdate the teephone # and the opening hours. Had to hang around for 1.5 hours. Also, I was told by Jonathan to drop off the trailer at Millennium Motocars in Loris, which I did. The truck, however, needed to be dropped off at Riverside Auto Sales in Loris on Hwy 9 (showed as Hwy 90 in your computer records). I dropped the truck off on Friday around 3:00. The man took the keys and said have a nice day. Then I got an email later that day indicating the truck needed to be dropped off at Milennium the next day by 1:27. Called Jonathan at the 877-667-7623 number again. He said that he had apparently not hit "save" before when we spoke, but he would take care of it. When I went into my U-Haul account yesterday (Sunday), I noticed that my reservations still showed the truck reservation active to be dropped off at Riverside Auto Sales on Highway 9, Loris, SC. As I mentioned, I turned it in on Friday. I also filled the truck up beforehand, which I mentioned to the man there, even though he didn't ask. Can you please update the online information on my account? Thank you.

Oj sThe truck smelled of pot. I told the guy and he didn’t seem to care. I them called the lady at the drop off point and was very understanding. I just was making sure I wasn’t going to be charged for the clean up that the millennium location didn’t take care of. The Oder was so bad as soon as you open the door I got a contact high.

Larry LEverything was great! I've utilized U-Haul many times before. This was the closest location to me, and I was glad it was there. I was able to have a truck until my job was finished. It helped me for my move, but the mileage can add up on you costing more, like bad directions for where you are going from other companies can along with that. I'll be using U-Haul Mover Help again also when it's time to finish with things. I was happy with them also. It will be good to finally get to where I'm going to be. Thank you again U-Haul.

CARL GI arrived to the car dealership with the U-Haul‘s and I walked inside, and the guy made me wait like 20 to 30 minutes to get the U-Haul and the U-Haul was filthy inside the capon.

Charles GU-Haul needs to improve its web service. Why offer on-line check in, only for your representative to ignore it and the customer be required to provide the information again? Spent more than an hour in the office while paperwork was filled out. Also, one price was listed when I checked in, only to have a higher price charged in the office. Felt like I was lied to by U-Haul!

Steve Koutside of truck was muddy, The truck made a squealing noise the whole trip from North Carolina to Mississippi. It took almost an hour to check out the truck like the owner of the business had no idea how to check it out.
Steve DIt was the woman's first time renting a U--Haul, and I think she did a great job! I was surprised the truck was a little dirty. The cab had stuff on the floor, and the back looked like a bird seed bag ripped.
