I initially reserved equipment for my local area. I received a call the day prior stating I would have to drive 15 miles to another town to pick up my car hauler because of the unavailability of the equipment I reserved. This caused me to drive my towed vehicle to the other UHAUL site. Was not happy. I would suggest that UHAUL conduct better better maintenance on their equipment. I had to borrow lubricant for the ratchet straps ratchets on the trailer. They were barley operational. Not a happy customerScott D.

Inform customers that they are to check the vehicle in via their phone. Although it is written in very small print in the contract (that no one reads) if not verbally told most won't know! I did receive a text telling me this but since I was busy with the project that I rented the van for, I did not have time to look at text messages! Therefore I did not see the text until the end of my day and I had already returned the van! Also do not refer to the $20 fee for not doing the above stated a â€œconvenience feeâ€ it is a inconvenience fee 😡DEANNA B.

Mechanically the truck had some issues....like far too much play in the steering wheel. Had to turn the steering wheel almost 1/3 all the way around before it finally caught and steered. In a crosswind in heavy traffic that was a definite danger...Handling was AWFUL...Get the steering tightened up. Brakes were very "spongy" as well. That needs to be addressed and corrected.MICHAEL H.

Listen to the start date that the customer gives (I wanted a start time of 9 am due to the long drive ahead of me) and do not repeatedly call and send out texts. I was repeatedly texted by the helpers in MO a month before my move and then about 3 days before my move got at least 4 calls from uhaul. That was overkill and because I did a lot of driving the calls came at the worst times: when I was trying to sleep or was still driving. I prefer text to calls because once awakened by calls it is difficult for me to get back to sleep.SHUMMS U.

The trailer, even though 'guaranteed' was not available at the guaranteed location and I had to drive 50 miles out of my way to pick it up. Funny, you are a trailer rental company - why did Uhaul force me to do their work for them? This was NOT the fault of the pickup location, btw. They were great.Jeffrey K.

Great service. Didn't have the equipment I requested and didn't do a walk though with me so I took off one star. I just had to trust the truck and trailer were ok.Latisha R.
First of all, the app was not very user friendly. It took nearly 1/2 an hour to do the checkout process because it kept giving me issues with my device not sharing location even though the services were turned on. I ended up having to do it in my phone's chrome browser desktop version. Once that was worked out, I could finally upload my license. The other time eater was the process of calling two people not on the rental agreement before I could leave. It would be really beneficial to your company if you did this process in the quoting stage and clearly state the process rather than promoting the process as an easy 1-2-3 and drive off situation... it's not. The second thing was that I paid for a Utility Dolly and did not get it. I told the gentleman when I was dropping the truck off about this and he was too busy watching the nascar race than caring about this. I will use Penske next time!!!Sean G.

I have runner from you guys before but it would be nice if people that want to rent they could use a debit card prepaid card instead of a credit card some of us don't have credit cards and it's kind of hard to do just to get a van but they put me in a truck 10ft truck what does really good so maybe if we can work on the card situation to be really convenient but I really appreciate the work that you guys doBRIAN L.

Vehicle sounded like it had a lifter rattling badly, there were 5 rollers missing from the overhead door , the armrest was torn off the driver's door, was furnished w less than half a tank of gas, there was other various forms of damage to the vehicle, it was terrible to turn as the power steering is badcoleman J.

I was very pleased with the services I received from this location. However, I had previously reserved a 15' truck at the Rushville, Indiana location, but when I arrived at my reservation time, there was not a truck available. I waited for the truck at that location for one and a half hours. This inconvenience delayed my move an extra day. If customers make reservations, the promised equipment should be available!Robert N.
