Terrence MAs it stands today, I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone and I will do everything I can to bypass U-Haul if I am to ever need similar services again. Judging by my experience, I was obviously misinformed regarding affordability and feel extremely overcharged. I used this service to simply pick up and deliver kitchen cabinets for myself. I did not travel far, was very respectful with equipment and had the truck dropped off in less than 4 hours. My total cost was $354.79. >80$ fuel + 274.79 for < 4hours use. Never again!

Rita PI rented a 26' truck. The shocks were in terrible shape. Driving it empty, it bounced on every small uneven stretch of asphalt.

PETER TThis isn’t the original location of where i booked the truck. It was supposed to be Agua pure and they are closed on Saturday. Stop booking equipment from places that are closed on weekends.
jeff hI was told that I wouldn’t have to pay km because your agent sent me out of my way and was charged 75$ I was also told there would be a 50$ credit on my account “in good faith”. So was owed $125 and refunded less than 20$

Peter BI recently moved from Fredericton to the Halifax area, I booked my 26 foot Uhaul a month in advance, as to not have any problems. The day before I was supposed to pick up the truck, the pickup location changed from Fredericton to Saint John, an hour and 20 minutes away from my house. I wasted gas and 3 hours of my time just getting the truck, while 5 friends waited at my house to help me load. Absolutely terrible service.

James GThe van smelt like a farm. Manure. it took me 45 minutes to check the vehicle out electronically on my phone.. Had to provide another contact, who was called to verify it was me renting from you. I believe there should be a discount to the user if they are the one doing ALL the work to sign out and then sign back in a vehicle. Won’t do it again.

BRIAN DLocation was convenient, check-in was professional and efficient, drop off was easy. The vehicle was clean inside. I did register the booking on the app and the $40 per day was misleading, did not realize there was a KM charge as well. May have mis-read that but value for cost was pretty high for this rental considering the flat fee, mileage, and gas.

MAHDIS KThere was a disconnect between the equipment I had rented (like blankets and dolly), and what was actually available at the facility (no blankets available, and I had to go back to get the dolly). Also, the identity confirmation process was tedious. This was understandable in retrospect, but I would have preferred to do that the day before I needed to pickup the Uhaul so I wasn't wasting precious time in the parking lot waiting on an identity verification phone call to someone who wasn't even with me. Aside from that, the App check-in process was comparatively seamless, great work on that!
Carl MThe pick up and drop off was smooth ! Staff were helpful and made the rental easy. My Only issue is that I wish the trailer had a wheel at the front so I could drop it off after hours without assistance, the trailer is way to heavy for me to lift on my own so I had to get staff from the location help with taking it off, during open hours.

JEREMY SI dropped off the truck with OVER 3/4 of a tank and the receipt for the additional mileage showed I dropped it off with MUCH less firm but over the amount I was required. Deceiving business practice.
CHAD EOnly issue was the computer system was super slow that day. It was as frustrating for the gentleman behind the counter as it was for me. He was very polite. We just had to be patient.
