I did not get the amount of things ordered. I ordered 6 furniture covers and there was just 1 given to me and I was told to just call and ask for a refund.. The desk person at the mini storage but didn't seem to know I got a doily. Not assistance with knowing how to open the back of the truck etc and it was raining so it took me a while to figure it out since I needed to put the doily in

Robert MThe truck was not 'dirty', but it wasn't in great shape either. The location isn't really an issue. My reservation was changed to pick up the truck at that location, so I had no voice in the matter. I was upset when I discovered that because they were closed for the day I picked it up, I could not modify the reservation. I don't know if this is their policy or U-haul policy, but that is not a great business model. First you change my pickup location (even though your website indicated a truck was available at the location I initially reserved) and because of the change, I can't modify the reservation because the store was closed. There needs to be some type of mechanism in place to handle changes. If you're going to setup a system for the customer to pickup a truck with no employees around, then you can certainly figure out how to modify reservations as well. I was not happy with the experience at all. More with U-haul and how things were setup than the Mini Storage store. They didn't do anything wrong, they were following U-haul policies. Finally, I answered 'No' to the question of referring the location to a friend. I don't live in Massachusetts and I don't know anyone who would need to use the storage service. So that really the only viable option to select. Not a very good choice of answers but again, it's not a reflection on the store.

Michael CI rented a 10ft truck for a move from MA to North Carolina. I very much needed a backup camera. UHAUL kept telling me that they couldn't guarantee my truck would have one. I finally called the Scheduling office and they looked up each truck by their number to verify that my reservation had the backup camera. Lowell Mini Storage was great to work with. They returned my call. Had my truck ready on time. Truck was clean, had gas, and was ready to go. It was the best UHAUL experience I've ever had. Big Thank you to Freddy who returned my call and made the experience easy.

Nicole LTruck bed was full of snow with ice on top. I had to clean it out before I could put my stuff in it to move. This set me back 20 minutes, and I didn't have the proper stuff to do it either!

Steven SThe return shop in Lowell MA charged $16 for fuel when I returned the truck. This was a fraudulent charge, as the truck had more than what they indicated they filled. I will not rent from this location, as it seems they are tacking on miscellaneous charges.

Mike HThe person that helped me was nice but when i booked my uhaul online i booked at a different location, i recieved email telling me i had to go to this location instead, to pick up the truck. When i reserved online i also resevered for an appliance dolly, when i went to pick up the truck, the location i was sent to told me that i had to drive the uhaul to the original location that i booked with to go and get the dolly. This was upsetting since 1. I was not the reason my pickup location was changed and 2. Uhaul charges mileage. So nevertheless i drove across town to the original location i booked with to go get this appliance dolly that was supposed to be in the truck for me, upon my arrival the person working at the location on Middlesex st in Lowell Ma was extremely rude told me it was not his problem that i should figure it out with whoever i picked the truck up from. I felt attacked and completely disrespected. Thankfully my brother was able to get the uhaul employee to calm down and be reasonable and then magically he was able to produce this appliance dolly that he originally stated he did not have. Overall, this was an extremely unpleasant experience and its highly unlikely that i will ever recommend or use uhaul again.

Jason BInside cabin cup holders were dirty and sticky and the inside of the uhaul was filthy. Previous customer must've had sheetrock in there because there was sheetrock dust and rocks and bits and pieces of sheetrock still in there. Also, the tank was not filled to the 3/4 mark, it was before the mark. I use usual alot and this time has been awful.

James MIt is a tough area. When I arrived to pick up the van, the area was taped off as a crime scene since there had been a shooting in the complex the night before. I had to wait 45 minutes for the police to clear the scene and another 45 minutes before anyone showed up to open the store. So I wasted an hour and a half before I got started. I was talking to a guy who rents space at this center and he told me it happens all the time. The equipment was great, the rest not so much.

JOAN CWe had several issues with our latest truck rental. 1) The recorded Mileage and Fuel level by the location was incorrect - 46 mile off and 1/8 tank of gas off. Fortunately we took pictures of the truck and dashboard before leaving the location. I spent hours on the phone trying to ensure this was corrected before we returned the truck. Calls to the location and UHaul support resulted the gas level being corrected, but the mileage was not. So upon return, the location we returned the truck to could not recognize the correct mileage resulting in us being over charged. 2) Although not a location issue, the UHaul software (website) was difficult to use. I added information to the rental, but upon completion of the form, the information was not displayed. So I added it again. Then it was displayed as being there twice. 3) I asked to add a day to the rental. The traffic manager added it, but then it got removed. So I called the support folks - they added the second day again. But by the next day it had disappeared again. When I went to return the truck, they told me I had kept it longer than I should have. The final bill was significantly higher than I had been told it would be, so I assume I got assessed additional charges. Overall the truck ran well and got the job done, but the process around it was difficult and not something I would look forward to doing again.
Gene DReservation was for 8am. No one there. We sat and called the number on the door numerous times. Finally after an hour someone showed up. The truck smelled of pot and had pot in it (I have a photo ).
CHRISTINE GIf you say people don’t have to wait in line if they check in online, you should probably keep your promise. I got access to my van a half hour later.

JOHN GSeemed to be a storage business first and a rental location second. The $19.95 offer is more like bait and switch. My move for three hours cost $60+ dollars. I have used the Middlesex Street location previously and it much better managed, I will say that the clerk (young lady) was very helpful.
Fred FTo me your staff represents the company which also shows how they are treated from management on up, in their treating of customers . The person that took care of me was very professional and helped me threw the whole process. So as far as what you can do is keep on doing what you are doing. Treating and respecting your staff the way you would like to be treated.
