I dropped off a 15' Uhaul and auto transporter after hours. The app process to drop off the truck was easy to follow. Parking was convenient and key box was easy to locate. I rented a 20 ft truck to drive 1500 miles. This truck did not have cruise control. All of your trucks should be equipped with cruise control to save on the ankle and foot pain associated with holding the gas pedal down for that long of a drive. Other than that, the truck ran well, sucked gas like a thirsty pig, but did the job.Thomas T.

Make sure the tires are not bald and have the appropriate amount of air in them. Make sure there are not wires hanging out of the front of trailer. Customers should not have to drive 70 miles out of there way after a promising of it being closer to pick up location.Mark N.

Dealer was great, U-Hail is a nightmare to deal with. I told the young guy that I talked to I didn't know how he could stand it. you advertise working at u-haul, I told him I'd rather hang myself than work for a company as dysfunctional as u-haul. Over an hour of wait and 3 people to check out.John M.
This has no bearing on the Mansfield location! The gentleman that helped us was quick and accommodating! I will say that this was my first AND last experience with U-Haul. I had a reservation made in advance with a $50 guaranteed pick up. I was called the day before my reservation and told I needed to postpone or cancel all together because there were no more trailers available in my area. This was not an option, as we HAD TO MOVE the next day. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very inconsiderate and not accommodating at all. The customer should not have to offer solutions - this should come from the company doing me a huge disservice. I explained that neither postponing nor cancelling was an option, and asked where the closest trailer location was. I had to drive 2 HOURS one way to pick up a 5x8 moving trailer. Very disappointed. Did not receive the $50 guarantee, and was not offered any discount or compensation for this issue. I suppose poor customer service is fine when the company has a monopoly on the market when it comes to tow-able trailers.William M.
I moved my son to Mansfield university and this location was my drop off point for my trailer rental. The staff he is very friendly professional and courteous. My trailer was disconnected and inspected within 5 minutes of my arrival. I would highly recommended this location.Jean Philippe M.
I don't understand how a trailer can cost 1200$ to go from Pennsylvania to Florida and 267$ from Florida to Pennsylvania. The dealer told me there was a shortage of trailers in the north. That doesn't really make sense. Price gouge your customers because your company's infrastructure is weak? I will not be renting from u haul again. It is a Shane that such a good business model is being used to extort people without the means to purchase equipment that is needed to move from one home to the next especially in the midst of such an economic travestyClinton S.

Box roof leaked because the repair was so poor. The pick up and drop off places were ok so this survey really doesn't pertain to them. The biggest problem is with the on line reservation system . I went from picking up the vehicle 20 minutes away to over an hour away that is wrong. Also the the 24/7 mobile phone pick up was never explained and I didn't know my phone needed to be at the pick up point to be able to pick up vehicle. During the dozen or more phone calls we made the day before pickup no one could give a definite answer regarding is our truck there. A/C in truck didn't work all the time, worked intermittenly.Andrew K.

The app was terrible. It took 20 minutes to get an approval, then the app wouldnt bring up the camera when it needed pictures to proceed. And the rental ended up being about $50 more than i expected. Next time, ill borrow a friends truck.Gary B.

I was charged $14 for insurance I declined online. Also, there was a spot in the truck that if you stepped on it started to open. Everyone unloading the truck stepped on this spot (basically right in the middle of the floor) at least once. Not ideal when your hands are full. The guy that helped us with our rental was great. We actually rented the truck from wellsboro office. Mansfield took it and then made us pay the gas mileage. We rented in wellsboro because we were just moving from one wellsboro house to another wellsboro home. Technically we only moved about a block. I truly feel I should not be charged for the mileage.Kandice S.

The representative hooked up the trailer , took pictures but didn't screw down the trailer to the ball. I did check it down the road before something happened. This facility closes at 2pm on Saturday and is closed on Sunday. I returned the truck earlier than expected at about 4 pm Saturday and there was no one there to receive my truck! Luckily I was using Truck share and just returned the truck through the app.Matt N.
