Was not explained about dents in truck, truck did not have slide our, of course should of checked before so had to buy some to put furniture in truck which cost $130. Extra. Would not recommend this place at all.Melissa R.

Even though she didn't show any enthusiasm, she did a great job taking care of all my reservations issues that the Beaumont TX, Lawrence drive UHaul screwed up. I even pointed to the vehicle that was going to be on the transporter and gave him all the accurate vehicle info and come to find out that my truck was to heavy and long to fit. Even though beaumont caused me to miss 3 days of work at my new job, I Believe that Lumberton tx actions to help me with that issue kept me from loosing more then 3 days of work. I was even refunded for the transporter before i made it to my destination. P.S. that ghost pepper smoked slim jim was the best i ever had!Angelo J.
We cleaned the truck out and even sprayed it off at the car wash. Not sure Why they charged $30.00 to clean it. Which overdrafted my account! I was unaware of any charge for dropping it off after hours. I was expecting a charge of less than $5.00 and was hit with a $58.00 charge. A courtesy call would have been nice!KAREN PERINO R.

The only issue at Mitchell Road was being offered and accepting additional insurance that I did not need. Then it was nearly impossible to get it removed. The Peter Kiewit company has insurance with U-Haul built into their contract, which I was not aware of. The pick up and drop off locations need to know the contract terms and conditions to assist and guide customers. This was a split contract. I picked up the truck at Mitchell Road and the car carrier at East Tex and Lawrence drive in Beaumont Texas. The East Tex Freeway location was not a good experience. I rate them poorly. It was a tremendous amount of hassle (two hours) and multiple phone calls to get my car loaded and strapped onto the trailer. The employees said they were not qualified to strap the car onto the trailer. I asked them to call their manager, which they did, his response was not to touch the car. I then called GoUHaul for help, as the employees went on to help other customers and sweep out trucks leaving me there with no options of loading the car. Aaron at GoUHaul contacted the locations general manager and directed the employees to allow me to drive onto the trailer and for them to strap it down. I called a week in advance to schedule all equipment. I then called back several times over the week and was reassured everything was in order. The night before leaving I had to contact the traffic department because I had not heard from them as I was told I would. I learned at that point that the car tow trailer and utility dolly had to be picked up at a separate location because it was not available at Mitchell Road.steve H.

Gentlemen at the facility was great. Took the time to go out and clean the windshield that wasn't really even dirty before we left. Allowed me to leave my car for about an hour after he was closed until a friend could bring me back. Excellent service fast and professional. If I need another truck in that area I will definitely go back to him. I'm sorry I can't remember his name but I believe he was the owner. Great guy.Samuel G.

This was the second location for pickup, my first reservation the day before when I showed up they had the wrong trailer waiting for me and the person was not very professional on how he dealt with the issue. And I had to drive 75 miles one way and 75 miles back. Only, to be told to call the U-haul 1-800# for assistance. They found me the Mitchell Rd Fish & Shrimp location, I was going to inspect and they said I did not need to because I had the insurance. Well the trailer latch was broken, this was not noticed until the trailer was partially loaded. The Mitchell location told me to go to the main U-haul to have it fixed. The Owner there stated he did not have the parts or a replacement trailer. Then I had to call and get a replacement. Because it was the weekend and the end of the month/beginning of the month replacement was hard to find. So they found a bigger one for replacement, but the one assigned had tire issues that the location did not even know about. And the one they gave me, however it had issues as well. So I was 2 days late getting back to FL. And had to deal with the issues as well. Since U-haul has stopped doing most of their maintenance, you equipment quality has really suffered.Perry A.

Improve Uhaul ordering process. After reserving a 5x8 in Beaumont TX I got a call saying it was not available at that location, so they sent me to another location, upon arrival, they told me the trailer they resereverd for me had not yet been returned. After looking online, he could not find one anywhere in the immediate area. I suggested he find one in Huntsville TX, the city I was traveling to, so he did. This was a major inconvenience and took several hours out of my day to resolve. The individual locations were great, Uhauls reservation system sucks. Reserving trailers that are not in a Uhaul locations physical possession is just nonsense. It's a gamble to try to reserve one at all.Brian A.

When I scheduled the truck pick up location through the website - I assumed there would be the truck I ordered. But on the day that I was supposed to pick up the truck, I received a call from that place telling me that they did not have the truck that I ordered. I had already scheduled movers for that day to load the truck. I asked that particular place to find another place that DID have the truck I ordered. She did find me a place - but then I had to wait for the truck to be returned before I could rent it. This was extremely stressful because I had everything scheduled and planned a whole week in advance and at the last minute UHAUL did not fulfill what they promised.Allison P.
