The Mobil Mart team provided great customer service and was very helpful throughout the rental process. Unfortunately, the U-Haul app created several unnecessary issues. Prior to the rental beginning, the app repeatedly would not accept photos of the vehicle. It also would not allow the employee to remove equipment that had been added to my reservation but was I didn't need it. My primary concern is not with the Mobil Mart location or its staff, but with U-Haul’s overall rental technology and process. The system does not provide a seamless customer experience and seems to present frequent technical issues. I have noticed similar problems at other U-Haul rental locations that are not flagship U-Haul facilities. Improving the app and providing independent rental locations with better system functionality would make the process much more efficient for both customers and employees.
