Ben RThe drop off location was very convenient to my home. My suggestion would be that personnel have signage as to where to drop off the truck. There is a large open area in front of the store but I was left to guess where to put the truck among personal vehicles. Across the street there were many UHaul vehicles but no signs pointing out if this was the right place or not. I parked in front of the store, locked the truck and walked inside. I stated I was here to drop off a truck and did I need to show my paperwork. The man behind the counter was pleasant and said "No, just let me have the keys." That was it. I would have liked a "Thank you for choosing UHaul" as this was my third time renting from your company and I've spent close to $1,000 for three trips to Sanford, NC to retrieve my personal items and bring them to New Bern, NC. Your rep wasn't rude or anything, but he didn't mention UHaul in his conversation with me at all.

niels gGreat experience renting here. One improvement to the pricing strategy: I rented the big 26ft truck for 7 hours. In total it cost me $160 including $20 in gas, with 67miles on the odometer. I think this is a bit on the steep side. I may have reconsidered if I knew it earlier and changed the size of the truck.

The dealers near my home did not have what I needed and ended up having to drive 30 miles to Monettes. From now on I will make that trek. Highly recommend Monettes!

CHAD BI have rented uhauls from this location before, and the customer service is always top tier. Great people. However, the prices are far too high, and I will never rent from uhaul again. The vehicle would not get over 2 bars of fuel economy for normal driving, so I had to refuel the truck far too often. The mileage charge was far too high. We moved to a new location in town, had a 3-4 day rental and the mileage charge was almost $500 extra on top of the rental. When I tried turning the vehicle in via the app, I could not get passed uploading a picture of the gas/mileage. I turned the vehicle in with extra gas as well.

john hHad purchased tow with insurance coverage for car. While driving had to continuously pull over and tighten wheel strap. After 100 miles removed car from tow thinking it was hooked up incorrectly. Found out the metal clip was missing two bolts required to hold it in place. Had to have passenger drive the car and since tow couldn’t be used. Didn’t call for assistance since it was dark outside and not populated area. Hoping to be refunded for the cost of the tow, insurance and gas finds to have car driven instead of being able to tow it.
Lace-Ann PU-Haul should do better on ensuring locations have blankets and other supplies I ordered but had to do without because they had none when I picked up. Service was very good there, was just disappointed the supplies were not there.

Jimmy AThe staff was friendly and on top of things, managing the rentals well and expecting me at the time I listed. I'm more or less a regular, and the process of repeat check-ins is simple and uninvasive. The Auto Transport trailer had some damage that was not visible in the confirmation photographs, and I noted that the left tail lamp didn't work (turn signal was fine) and one of the ramp straps on the right side was frayed and nearly broken. These aren't big complaints from me, but might scare off some others.
Daniel GThe car trailer performed as needed. Unfortunately when we loaded up the car the rear chains for the rear axle were missing. Had to scramble to locate straps to secure the rear of the car for transport. Next time I will be looking for them.
