The store was never opened. The place was in a very sketchy location. The owner on the phone was watching his kids, they were crying and you could hear animals in the background. The guy got rude at one point because I didn’t know my drop off location. Why would I , I’m moving to a new location, I don’t know the area. We did the whole transaction over the phone. They didn’t have anything about my reservation correct, says I was late and he canceled it. But minutes before a lady pulled away with a 10 foot U-Haul. He gave us a 15 ft truck for same price. The roughest driving U-Haul truck I’ve ever driven. No dolly, no blankets like I ordered. Waiting almost an hour, while I’ve got people at home waiting to help me pack. Worst U-haul experience ever. The drop off location was a breeze, I did wait a few minutes for a guy to come out and meet me. The place looked like U-haul Universe. Drop off was easy, I gave the key back and walked away. I’ll never go to a mom and pop u- haul place to pick up again. I’ll use a competitor first. Thank goodness my daughter stepped in the conversation for the pick up , with the guy or I would’ve otherwise cancelled the whole thing. Plus we really need the truck.
Candice HThe truck I had a reservation for was not available. Time listed on the U-Haul app wasn’t accurate to the business location. The business was closed. Had to contact owner over the phone. While on the phone, the owner kept asking me “what” or would tell me to say that again. I was sitting in my car, no noise interference. He then proceeded to have another conversation with a person in the background, wherever he was located. 0/10 rating for customer service.
Austin HThere was no one there, the man on the phone was rude and condescending, and if I hadn't needed the truck RIGHT THEN, I wouldn't have continued with the reservation. Also, my truck was dirty; there was broken glass and debris in the back of the truck that we had to sweep out before we could load. This was my fifth U-Haul rental in the past 6 months and I was extremely disappointed with this rental.

Barbara LTruck was not ready upon arrival. Truck storage area and cab were dirty. Truck had less than an eighth of a tank of fuel (43 miles of range). There was no windshield washer fluid (we had to purchase at fuel stop).
John WIt’s horrible. Everything about the third party sites is horrible. They are always super trashy hard to find and both times I have picked up and returned it from these third party places they have not even been there to give it to me. This time they didn’t even have the truck and I had to drive 20 minutes out of the way and then another 30 minutes home just to start packing. It’s just ridiculous. I used to use UHAUL all the time but this is my last time. It’s happened twice in a row now and it’s so annoying to deal with and then you go to drop it off and it is the sketchiest place ever and the lock boxes are always broke.

Unfortunately they didn't have any Van available so she kindly made a reservation for me to pick it up on Nova Rd. The guy was really friendly and kind. Excellent service. Thank you so much.

Tony FRented a truck, was missing a dolly. Truck had engine lights and was told to park it and wait for a technician. Then was charged double because I had to let it sit from 10am to 4 waiting on the mechanic, then move, and my rental was 10-6. Waited to hear back from the area manager, never heard anything and bill was never adjusted for missing equipment or double time.
Forrest Rthere was no-one there. the Money Tree Family business was closed, online food orders only, no personnel. had no idea of how to return the keys. called omni feeds in Findlay Ohio and he had to help me on the phone to return keys. the key return box had no operable lock on it and I could open the box and retrieve the other keys that were left in the box. I took photos of myself returning the keys. this place also had full trashcans outside and smell like urine. very little parking for a 20ft truck, had to use 4 parking spots to park. very little signage outside to indicate where the business is located. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS

Mark Hthis was supposed to be a 24 Hour location but it was closed and we we waited almost 2 hours for a live person to show and help. I called U haul customer service and got a video link on how to just drop the equipment through a phone app. I was having issues trying to accomplish that as I am not that well versed with the technology my bad. U haul should say the location is unattended if you have to use an app to drop with your phone. I will most likely try to avoid business with U Haul in the future as a result of this. To much technology and not enough people to help doesn't work for some people

Money tree family also said I had to pay extra money, more than the contract I received from Uhaul. He charged me quite a bit more money and said I had no choice if I wanted to rent the U-Haul. Someone from U-Haul corporate really needs to call me if they want to know more. 910-651-6551. Take care
Kearen FTerrible. We have been charged for a mistake and no one seems to be able to help us. We were charged for mileage we did not use. It was incorrect in the computer when we picked it up and we were told it would be corrected and never was. Now we have been charged and no one to help us deal w this. Everyone puts it on everyone else. And now we were charged over $400. Ridiculous.

Kendra EFirst off the location stated they were open til 11pm. We got there close to 9:30pm and door was locked. Wasted 45 minutes trying to figure out where the key drop off box was located. Once we found it on the neighboring stores door the lock on the lock on the box was broken slicing my husbands finger open and giving complete access to Anyone walking by to the UHaul keys Totally ridiculous. Peace out UHaul. I now have a 3 hour drive home. Uhaul has now lost my business due to this drop off location.

Lawrence CThe was no dolly. I had to wait and hour to get the keys. The truck had no gas. We has to argue to get the dolly and telling use that he has a bunch of them but it’s not his problem. He finally agave us one once we kissed his but. The truck was dirty and had the owners lighter in it.

GREGORY KLocation is a strip mall off Nova street. No signage to let you know. If not for GPS I would have never seen the place. No sign on back of building where I was led to drop off truck. Then to drop off key was another adventure I care not to have again. The number on the contract 386-310-2006 was a recording of no longer in service. So my wife and I made a trip around the front of the location to look for some kind of sign saying "U Haul" or Money Tree Family. Finally found store 107 had U Haul small sticker on door. Looked all around the door area for a drop off box, none found. Called the number on the door which was different With same result disconnected message. So the US mail boxes were there looked around those for key drop, nope. Went back around to rear of building by rear entry no drop box there either. So I gave up, better than 40 minutes to drop this truck off and I still have key. When I first arrived and did not see any sign for Money Tree Family on back of building I looked on line for another possible drop off location close by. I called the one on Speedway Blvd and get nothing but run around recorded message. And it was 4:40 pm. Messages sounded as though we a corporate office not a location in Daytona.So not finding a key drop at the Nova location I decided I will just take key over to company location on Speedway Blvd, put in box with a note where they can find the truck. As I am leaving Nova location I see a orange box attached to a fence of a business across the side street from the place I dropped the truck. The wife said hey they trucks parked there. I believe it was a used tire shop (Sams Tires 1807 North Nova)I figured maybe just over flow from Nova location as you have to park behind building and not much room. So I dropped key in that box and started our 3.5 hour trip home. So around 8:45 PM my son gets a call asking about the truck, and he knows nothing. So he calls me and I get in contact with an individual at 561-446-4112. I give him information about key and he tells me that is a different location. He tried to convince me there is a drop off box at his location, but Im not believing it. I did miss his phone call originally, but he did not leave a voice mail for me to get back to him. He also called the wife's phone and did not leave a message to call back. I am guessing maybe he called while we were eating . I know this is not the average rental. 2 years ago I helped a friend drive the same kind of equipment from Florida to Montana and everything was exceptional. I guess that's why this was such a complete and udder disappointment.
