I have done business with David multiple times over the past year and a half. Each time David was a true professional. The equipment that I reserved was always ready on time, clean and ready to use. Each time was a pleasant experience.

KAYLA RVehicle: Vehicle had a constant notification of the rear door being ajar even when it was closed. Damaged side door glass. Truck was clean and fuel was good Service: Friendly and polite. Total mileage was accurate but found the safe mover add on was listed although i opted out. Contacted Uhaul customer service and they corrected the issue so I appreciate the additional service

TINA KWindshield wipers were broken upon pick up. Car trailer ratcheting straps were damaged to the point of non use. U-Haul truck had problems taking gas. Filler neck seems to be blocked. Took 30 minutes to fill tank. I was told by U-Haul I would not be charged for additional gas after drop off. I was charged latter for more gas.
JOHN SMy sole concern revolves around the inclusion of fees that I explicitly declined, which were added to the projected bill in order to secure a larger deposit. While I can accept a doubling of the mileage rate if I state I'm driving 20 miles, tripling the mileage and imposing insurance charges after I opted out of that coverage is not a sound business practice.
ALMA LThere is a discrepancy on the paperwork. It has "MI OUT" 10097.8 and I took a picture of mileage, which was 10099.1 and gas before I left the lot. I feel like I'm being charged for the previous customer. I'm nice, but I can't pay their bill as well. The staff was wonderful and fun!!!
KEENYA MDave was absolutely wonderful and made sure to let us know what to expect, and what was expected of us in return. As such, we knew that we had gone over the allotted amount of the miles included in the initial payment, and had a rough idea of what to expect as far as an additional charge went. Further, because Dave made sure to inform us, we returned the truck with the proper amount of gas in it. Throughout all of our interactions, Dave was a jovial and courteous individual; if and when we move again, we are planning to go to this specific location!

Ernest VJeffersonville location- This was the worst experience I have ever has with using U-haul. My reservation was set 2 weeks prior before moving. When the day came, they called 20 minutes before pick up time and advised the truck we rented was not available and they did not know if or when they could provide us with one, meanwhile they were renting to people just walking in instead of trying to fix out issue first. They then told us we could drive 25 minutes away from our home to pick one up from Monte LeGrand at the Berry Blvd location. When we received the truck and started driving back home, we werent even sure if the truck was actual going to make it to both locations due to the condition of the truck. We moved and had it returned the same day to the Louisville location. We were told by cooperate that due to the issue they would refund us $50.00 for the inconvenience. We called 2 days later to find out when that would be placed back on our card. That is when it got even worse. The rep said that we were being charged $92.00 because Monte LeGrand lied and said we did not return it with the gas filled back up to where it was when we picked it up and that is was not cleaned when we returned it. We advised the rep that was a bold lie and that nothing was left in the truck and the gas was filled back up where it should have been and we wanted to speak with a Manger to get this resolved and not charged $92.00 for gas and cleaning. We were placed on hold so manager could call Monte LeGrand and when he returned to the call, we were advised they were only charging $10.00 due to 2 small pieces of plastic left in the back of the truck. When the manager asked him about the gas and told him we had proof that he was lying, that is when he changed it up and said " Oh no, the gas was fine but there was 2 pieces of trash left in the bed of the truck". Monte LeGrand is a fraud and a lying scammer. I would not rent from that location if it was the last place on earth or deal with Monte LeGrand again. As far as U-haul trying to help with finding a solution and make the situation less stressful, they only made it worse. They are beyond unprofessional and I would be ashamed if I was associated with this company. I have never had an experience like this with them but it was enough for me to never use their business and will let every I know, if they want good, professional and helpful assistance with moving. Go somewhere other than U-haul in Southern Indiana. U-haul, you all need to do better.

THOMAS RNo one there to help. After over an hour on the phone with customer service and help from another customer also dropping off a return, someone came out and said can he help us with anything, we told him we believe we got it. Just needed to unload the car and unhook trailer. He said we are closed, got in his truck and left. We had to do everything by ourselves. We are senior citizens and have a hard time getting up after removing chains. We will never use this location again.

Tyail MI originally booked online at one location. Late evening the night before I receive a message to pickup somewhere else. I get to that location and it was closed and the owner didn’t have it set up for self checkout so I was asked to go to another location. I arrived at Monte and felt disgusted as I had to rent from this location (building has a lot of junk and dirt). I did not get the dateline but somehow he gave that to me anyway. He didn’t walk to the truck to make sure everything was ok, BUT he did say “it’s on an 1/8 of a tank and to bring it back on a 1/4 to save me $20.” He said someone left it running and ran the gas out after checking it in (I wasn’t thinking because I was so annoyed with uhaul at this point). I couldn’t get in the truck so my daughter had to drive. The tank was on E so we had to put gas in it. I was thinking that’s what he meant when he said bring it back on 1/4 of a tank and not 1/8. When I finished moving I brought it back with almost half a tank. Later that night I seen where he tried to charge $24 (I’m guessing for the gas). I finally looked at the contract and it had 3/4 of a tank but the uhaul was on E when I got it. I did receive the credit from the remainder of my rental (around $59), I’m just realizing that the $59 was taken back off and I have no clue why. This man is literally scamming people and I almost didn’t notice it until I was researching my account and seen that the money was taken out. I will not do business at this location again and I’m very upset with the whole experience this time.

Brianna MYour employee accused me of breaking an appliance dolly. It was like that when we got it. He also told me he wasn’t going to sit there and argue with me while I was trying to discuss the situation and I was charged over $100 for the rental when it was only driven 15 miles and I filled the tank up before I returned it. I also made sure it was swept out before it was returned. This person was rude an I feel like he was disrespectful towards me and my concerns.

Janeane LThis place was awful. The office was hard to find and when i found it, it was in the middle of a creepy warehouse full of odd Knick-knacks. The truck was dirty. It does not make sense that a location can allow for return times past their closing and have no way of dropping off at that time. Overall worst U-haul experience I have ever had. Will never return to this location.

Chrydtal JDrop off was 21 miles from destination, took 30 minutes to drive there resulting in being 6 miles over my allotted mileage. According to your app this was supposedly the closest drop off destination but we saw several dealer lots going to this destination.

Lakeisha SMore than one ignition key fit the vehicle that I had rented and I was given the wrong key. Later that day I had to meet the owner to switch keys out. I would recommend if an ignition gets to the point where more than one key fits to replace the ignition. This would not only prevent incidents like this from occurring but also theft. With that being said the owner Dave was exceptional in customer service and accommodating in working with me in my needs of the uhaul.
