The truck had no exhaust. I had to wear ear plugs just to be able to drive it. The location was great but the truck was not. I appreciate the drop in rate per mile due to the wrong size truck. Thank you for that but the truck needs to be fixed before someone else rents it.Bradley F.

The inside of the box of the truck was dirty when I picked it up and they charged me for more miles than I used. I will never use this location again and probably never use UHaul again. I received my U-Haul via online check in, however there was no appliance dolly. The business opened around the same time. I went inside and he told me they didn't have any, and to travel into Greenville Mi location to pick one up. This took extra miles which the Plainfield service center took off for me which was nice of them. However this doesn't take into account the time that was lost when I had people waiting on me to get to the move site with the U-Haul. So I essentially paid people to help me move who got paid for free because I had to run around and get an appliance dolly that should have been with the truck to begin with.Ryan B.

I was frustrated with U-Haul because I reserved my truck 8 days before I needed it. When I got my confirmation call I was told that I would have to pick the truck up at a different location than I requested and the truck size I wanted was not available so I would receive a larger truck for the price of the smaller truck. Not only was I charged full price the rental location added an extra 25 miles to my final bill. I have a U-Haul dealership less than one mile from my house so this was definitely an added stress on moving day.HEATHER P.

This location does NOT accept trailers. They only deal in trucks. The man on site was very helpful, but I felt bad convincing him to let me leave a trailer there that he normally would not accept. He is going to move the trailer himself to another nearby location so they can rent it out from there. Mootsies has told U-Haul this in the past, but the website still shows them as accepting trailers.Richard B.

If I would have used the car dolly I rented it would have ripped the front bumper off of my car when I backed it off the dolly. Maybe update your files for car types and whether they will sustain damage using your equipment.AARON M.
Their lot was unplowed, with at least 6" of snow. Had to make a run at the end of the driveway to get onto the road which is a very busy road and dangerous. Went back 2 days after pickup and still not plowed.Sue K.

I placed my order online for a 20' truck and an appliance dolly. Told both were in stock at a different location closer to my house. Next morning I get 2 frantic calls saying you don't have the 20' truck and I need to pick up a 14' truck at a different location. Also, the other location did not have an appliance dolly. They did give us a standard dolly at no charge. There was something about a $50 guarantee online that what I ordered would be available. Not sure how that works?
